Residence & Conference Centre - Welland

Pros: Quite affordable considering the location. This is a college student accommodation available to the general public over the summer months. Rooms are basic and a bit dated, but tidy and clean, and given the low cost, it’s quite okay and I would recommend it highly. Wifi is good and there is free parking. No breakfast or coffee available, but our unit had a kitchen.

Would definitely stay again.

Pros: A clean and quiet stay for us. Looking at the parking lot, there were quite a few people staying there too. We were not bothered with any extra noise.

Cons: Beds were only doubles, but we knew that going in. We are used to having a king bed at home. However, they were quite comfortable.

Pros: It had a kitchen, although no kitchen utensils/plates etc so not as useful as you think. There was lots of room and having the extra area to sit outside the bedrooms was good. Close to Welland canal for our event.

Cons: This property is a student residence during school year so I guess I got what I expected. The rooms were clean but VERY basic, with no decor to jazz it up when the students leave over the summer. The TVs were tiny and it felt like a college dorm when you arrive, without any voice. Felt like I needed to pack my own wall decor just to add some colour.

Welland weekend

Pros: We appreciate that we were able to put my road bike in the suite since we didn't want to leave it on the bike rack.

Cons: Everything was good.. Just a hiccup that the key card didn't work the 1st time..but resolved quickly

We will definitely stay with you again if there is a vacancy in the future months.

Pros: The location was perfect for our visit with our granddaughter. Staff was so helpful and parking was close to the lobby. The beds were comfortable and the overall building was quiet for sleeping.

Perfect compared with the high costs in Niagara

Pros: The location, it's not too far from Niagara falls, the place is beautiful and safe. Perfect for a small family or 2 couples in case of sharing.

Cons: The washroom needs more maintenance and cleaning; the ceiling had rust, the vanity needed to be replaced and there was dust accumulated in the toilet paper support and at the ceiling fan grid. Mattresses and pillows are not comfortable at all, I'd suggest bringing your own pillows to have a better rest. There are no night tables also, I had to use a chair to put my glasses before going to bed.

Pros: The front desk was fantastic The only thing is the room should have house keeping and a kettle so many places to visit with in 20min drive.

Cons: We liked everything

The suite was great it had every thing you need.

Pros: WE went to the Welland Canal concert ABBA revisited it was awesome and the college residence was close by.

Pros: The staff is amazing , and very good value for money, they keep the rooms very clean. It is very quite area , I had nice experience.

Cons: Space and cleaness and no smell at all.

Great stay

Pros: Clean, spacious (the kids loved having their own room and TV), surprisingly comfortable bed (despite being hard), very quiet and peaceful location surrounded by trees, friendly staff, overall a very enjoyable stay

Cons: Bathroom is tiny; overpriced for a residence
