Old gem

Pros: What a great historical location. It's an old building, not updated, but fitting. Great service and wonderful food!

Cons: Pool and area need some upgrading, especially the hottub

Pros: Rooms were large and clean and very bright. Bedding was so nice and bed was super comfy. We faced the pond..it was peaceful.

Cons: Hotel stay was great..probably wouldn't return to restaurant. Food seemed dated. Stuffed mushroom were not good ..my chicken was dry. Husbands lambshank was very good. It was hot..there was a floor fan. Server was great.

Good and sad.

Pros: The food in the restaurant was outstanding and the staff were excellent.

Cons: Sadly the property is in need of some time and money being spent on it. The management have confused shabby with quant.

Nice, peaceful getaway

Pros: The landscape was beautiful and lush. The Inn is lovely and well appointed. We had three meals in the Ivey Restaurant which were very good to excellent. The bed was quite comfortable.

Cons: The window air conditioner was quite noisy. No kettle or bar fridge.

Love the history of the place

Pros: All the water and bush surrounding the facility. The little coffee cubby hole. The balcony. Breakfast and the restaurant itself. The front desk and wait staff, all really nice. Comfortable bed and lovely bed linens

Cons: The low toilet. The carpet.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The food was first rate. We hope to stay again.

Pros: The rooms were clean and spacious. The grounds were well kept and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. My wife said the lamb was the best she has ever had. Our Breakfast the next morning was again top tier. Very well prepared and most tasty. We hope to come out again soon.
