Beautiful Inn

Pros: Beautiful, historic building in a perfect location, just a couple blocks from picturesque downtown Sratford. We walked to everything, including the theaters, cafes, and restaurants. Stone Maiden Inn has beautiful rooms that are comfortable and unique to the building, which was originally an 1800s prestigious hotel. Well kept, interesting past, and perfect location. What more could you want?

A lovely stay at historic inn in downtown Stratford

Pros: Beautiful historic property and centrally located within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and theatres. Comfortable beds, clean room, and charming.

Cons: The parking was a little difficult to maneuver. Some things were a little rough around the edges. The A/C window unit was clunky and old and quite noisy disrupting sleep.

First Stay In Stratford 😊

Pros: The location was really fantastic. It was a nice walk to the theatres and Main Street Stratford. The building has so much history and we loved all the historical artefacts. Our room was also really nice and cozy. And Marley was lovely! She made the trip memorable!

Cons: This is a minor qualm, but I wish there was a front desk where we could leave luggage. We drove there so we left luggage in the vehicle, but for people who are using the shuttle to Stratford, I'd say aim to be there closer to your check-in time so you can get your room and leave luggage in there. I also wish there was a washroom guests could use if they came early. The owner was very kind and let us use one of the washrooms in the rooms where guests had already checked out.

Pros: Excellent location walked everywhere, theaters, restaurants, parks. Comfortable bed, nice room.

Amazing stay

Pros: I had a lovely stay at Stone Maiden Inn! The house is full of charm and history, and my room was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated. The location is excellent—just a short walk from downtown Stratford. It’s a peaceful, welcoming place that feels like a quiet retreat.

Cons: One thing to note is that there was no staff on-site during my stay, which wasn’t an issue for me. Everything was well-organized and instructions were clear, so I had no trouble settling in. I’d definitely stay here again!

I enjoyed my stay. It was located close to the downtown area. I was able to walk most everywhere.

Pros: It is a lovely old mansion. I would have truly enjoyed unlimited access to wander throughout this incredible space and explore.

Pros: Loved the old Inn, my room was great and the location was excellent.

Cons: I did arrive early and would have liked to have left my car in the parking lot until check-in, however, the Inn was locked and I could not get authorization to do so.
