A good stay!
Pros: I always try and stay at the Sheraton Gateway/Toronto Airport Hotel when I am travelling! One suggestion is to bring back the robes and slippers in the room (nice after a shower at night) and an extra blanket in the closet. The rooms are not cheap rooms, so I am hoping this past staple/robes and slippers, can make a come back! Otherwise, a great stay!
Cons: The yogurt parfait was frozen and the hummus was outdated and frozen too (coffee bar kiosk). Maybe check out the fridge apparatus.

Pros: It is in the airport. Just 10 minutes from terminal 1 via a train which is free and walking distance from terminal 1.

The hotel was efficient, clean and very pleasant and the location was perfect for us!
Pros: The fact that the hotel is right in the airport is the best part! We were travelling from Vancouver to Punta Cana, DR and decided to break the trip into two parts to help my lower back issues. Not having to go outside in February is a game-changer! The meal in the dining room and the breakfast were both superb!
Cons: Collecting our bags on our return journey at the #5 carousel was appalling! This is not the fault of the hotel or even Air Canada but the airport authorities. My husband waited an hour and a half among about 1800 people - 6 flights all bunched into one carousel with no orgnization!!! As a Canadian, I was very embarassed to see that for many people arriving, (from London, Frankfurt, Jamacia, Punta Cana, and 2 more, this was their first impression of Canada!!! It was not a good way to end our glorious visit to the Caribbean!!!!!

Fine but not great, not worth the money - I won’t stay here again.
Pros: Extremely easy to access while on a layover. Several staff members were kind and helpful, including the bartender and the check in staff. The bathroom was well designed and very clean. The room was large and well-appointed. Starbucks inside the hotel.
Cons: The pool is tiny and the water was kind of …. gummy? The gym was small for a hotel at this range, although they had a separate Peloton room, but it seemed unused throughout my stay. The doors slam extremely loudly, so even though the room is quite soundproof from flights and voices, it’s still difficult to sleep because of the constant slamming 24/7. No bathrobes or slippers. For this price I’d expect it. The hotel didn’t seem to notice that a big storm was coming and call in more staff, so the queue at check in was over an hour…. Seems an obvious staffing decision for an airport hotel knowing days ahead that people will be stranded in a big storm. I won’t stay here again unless I have no other options.

Convenient and comfortable.
Pros: This hotel is super convenient in its location. You can walk straight out of terminal 3 into the hotel, or it is a short transit hop from terminal 1. It further removes travel friction by just being a good, comfortable hotel with plenty of room, good food, decent gym. Everything is easy and I always enjoy staying here.

A super convenient LUXERY airport hotel!
Pros: We are at the restaurant. Very busy but our waiter went above and beyond, bringing a sample of the Hazy IPA for my friend who was interested. He was friendly, efficient...the atmosphere was cozy. Food was great!
Cons: The ONLY thing was my husband had to sign up for a Marriott account to get the wifi 😉

Good hotel stay
Pros: Nice hotel at the airport. The staff we dealt with were all great. The common areas and room were modern and clean.
Cons: On one of the two queen beds in our room, the bottom sheet inexplicably did not cover several inches at the foot of the mattress.

Pros: seamless checkin , room was perfect Lost a special scarf in Sheraton club lounge and didn't realize until a day or two later. Went back on the way home and stopped in between flight connections. LEX in bar had put it away for safe keeping and female bartender was able to track it down for us!! thank you!
