Waterfront Hotel Downtown Burlington

My Canada holiday in Burlington Ontario.

Pros: I liked the location of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: There was nothing I didn't like. Having said that, they could have refunded my room deposit quicker. Other than that, everything was fine.

Pros: Perfect location for the activities I had planned that day.

Pros: The cleanliness of the facility. The rooms were beautiful and clean. I loved the wipeable surface s around the TV and amble spaces for luggage.

Cons: The front counter staff did not look happy that they worked there. The mattress was hard. It felt worn.

Pros: The area, the location. I've been in this location and the same hotel many times before. The coffee stand is available anytime. The breakfast is way better than other hotels that provide breakfast. I love how they have a take out box, perfect if your better half decide to sleep in.

Cons: Front desk gently, I saw him last summer but was not very friendly and saw him again. Nothing has changed. Representing a hotel such as this location, they need someone more welcoming.

Love this hotel and its amazing location

Pros: The hotel is situated right on Lake Ontario in Burlington. There is a lovely walking path around the lake with places to sit and enjoy the sun. Lots of restaurants in the area, but truthfully the restaurant attached to the hotel was very good with great salads.

Cons: They include breakfast. And it was alright. They could step up their breakfast quality a wee bit. Maybe offer bags of oatmeal, plain yogurt, and more variety of fruit since they only had apples. There wasn't enough seating the second day, but the staff quickly fixed that problem.

An enjoyable 2 weeks

Pros: The location is amazing. The staff were helpful. The restaurant at the Port House was very good. There was a fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker, which was great. We used them all.

Cons: The carpet in our room was very stained. The furnishings tired. The breakfast was disappointing with very limited fresh fruit. Tables and seating for breakfast was inadequate for the number of guests.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, overall happy with our stay

Pros: The Waterfront Hotel has a excellent location on the lovely seafront walk way in Burlington. Our room was very comfortable and kept very clean by housekeeping every day of our stay. The breakfast which is included in the room price was adequate with a good range of hot and cold drinks, cereals and a small selection of fruit and sweet pastries. The hot food selection was limited to omelettes, burgers or sausages and small cut fried potatoes, overall food was satisfactory for us. Overall the hotel we enjoyed our stay was good value for money.

Cons: The 2 negatives were firstly the commercial size extractor fans on the flat roof on the ground level flat roof on top of the Port House Kitchen and bar were switched on 24 hours a day and the noise was noisy even on our top 6th floor room which wakened me up several times in the night during our 10 night stay. Secondly the outside patio area was only available for hotel guest from the start to finish of the breakfast time due to the fact the patio belonged to the Port House Bar which opened around 11.00am and after that time you could not sit outside unless you bought a drink or a meal from the bar.

Waterfront hotel, the complete package...

Pros: All staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful, lots of varieties It's great the hotel is close to restaurants, shops and the water. So much to do!! The view is amazing!!

Cons: Nothing came to mind

Great location.

Pros: Great location, great breakfast buffet replenished regularly. Bathroom clean with plenty towels. Housekeeping in daily to check if you wish.

Cons: Room tired with practically no storage. 6 coat hangers for 2 people over 5 days. No drawers. Bathroom showed signs of age. No recycling of any of the plastic breakfast juice bottles. Everything was binned

Pros: Always a great experience!! We LOVE the Waterfront!
