Thornhill's Luxurious Marriott exceeds all expectations.

Pros: This Courtyard Marriott Hotel has been completely remodeled to 5 Star ratings. Excellent front desk check-in with Cheryl as well as Hotel Manager with polished professional service. The lobby was large enough to easily care comfortably for 100 people. The Starbucks area will make an ample breakfast and dinner with supper meal from 5 PM to 10 PM.

Cons: Our favourite Korean Grill House Restaurant is just around the corner. After 25 years it has a great bento luncheon for $12. Location is good for traffic to all major highways. The two Queens were luxurious. The shared adjoining rooms were perfect for ease of access.

Pros: The staff were wonderful! Very helpful and friendly. It was pretty clean and good heat/air control for the room. Quiet.

Cons: The showerhead was too small and could use a bit more pressure! Pillows were too soft IMO. Did not see WiFi PW info in the room or with the key cards

Had a great stay.

Pros: Hotel was clean. Staff was great. Room was spacious. Kids would have enjoyed a slightly bigger pool, but no complaints! Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in Markham.

Overall it was a good stay except for the food that we ate.

Pros: The room was a nice size, well appointed and clean. The A/C worked well and was quiet. The staff were polite and helpful. The location was good, close to highways and within walking distance to several restaurants.

Cons: Breakfast needs improvement! I had a bagel with cream cheese and it was terrible especially the cream cheese was off and left a terrible taste in my mouth. My spouse had a muffin and it was equally terrible. The prices for the breakfast menu were over priced and not a lot of options. After that we ate outside of the hotel for every meal. Having the basic needs of water available to guests for free would be a big improvement especially on hot summer days. Having to pay 3.50 for a regular bottle of water is ridiculous. That is way over priced. I also didn't like that there was no safe in the room.
