Trent River Cottages

Would recommend and plan on returning.

Pros: The location/view was amazing! Easy to get around the property and the privacy. Loved having the ability to cook and store food. Not having to bring sheets and other utilities made it easier for packing.

Cons: Entrance not easy to spot, even with the current sign. Seemed to have everything but towels in the bathroom and paper towel.

Pros: the beautiful views of the river, the fall colours and the birds were just wonderful!

Pros: Location is the best. We were here for the second time. That itself says it all.

A million dollar view and a peaceful place to rest, fish, or boat!

Pros: The owners are welcoming, attentive, and very kind. The view is breathtaking and the cottage was very clean and well equipped for my purpose. It was the perfect place for me to stay while visiting in Norwood.

Cons: I loved it so there was nothing I did not like! Having said that, it is important to understand this is a basic old style cottage.

Clean cottage with lovely view

Pros: The location was great. It was lovely to watch the river from the cottage, porch and fire pit. The cottage was very clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the layout of the rooms was nice. The owners were friendly and respectful.

Cons: The larger bed was a bit too firm for us, but we are particularly fond of plush mattresses. We were happy to have rented at a quiet time of year, but if all the cottages were rented, we would probably find it too crowded. It would be nice as a family renting multiple units though.

Pros: The location was close to grocery stores & other services in Hastings or Norwood. The cottage was located on the canal with all the amenties as listed in the ads.
