Rocky Crest Golf Resort

It is a lovely place for a couple of days if you are not a golfer.

Pros: View from our front porch was beautiful. Room was very comfortable, Loved the suite style of the room. Ground were nice.

Cons: The knob on the air conditioner was broken so we could not turn it down, though not a big deal but it was a little cool. Lighting in the sitting room was a little dark to read by.

Awesome family friends resort! We will return next summer.

Pros: We loved the water park for our kids. They had endless fun! We really enjoyed the laid back, family friendly environment and our kids met plenty of friends to play with. The beds were extremely comfortable which is a game changer for future travel to Rocky Crest. We will definitely be returning next summer.

Cons: We did not like the large group of friends that were staying at the resort during the time we were. They were loud and very over bearing in the common areas; playing music loudly so we couldn’t even have a conversation while relaxing in the dock. They acted like they owned the place, we couldn’t believe the nerve of them. We wished there was staff from Rocky Crest monitoring this behaviour. We didn’t see anyone in sight. We were also not the only people who found this extremely disrespectful.

We had a very nice time.

Pros: The accommodations were very nice and the food and golf were excellent.

Pros: Scenery was beautiful. Accommodation was very clean and well kept. Lots of opportunities for leisure time, walking, canoeing, swimming, campfires! Very quiet because it was off-season, but there was a wedding reception on the weekend and it was still fairly quiet. Keep up the good work!

Pros: Location was 2.5 hrs from Toronto, which was not too far. Resort was at the end of the lake, which was ideal as water was calm, clean and not many speed boats. It was a picturesque, quiet and relaxing location. Perfect for young families. Beautiful golf club. Many water activities and staff are all very helpful and friendly.

Cons: A bit dated, no free breakfast and patio/ lounge restaurant had limited choices and expensive. (Did not eat on location). Room rate a bit expensive for a dated accommodation. However, the activities and relaxation paid off. We would come back.

Pros: Everything was awesome. Staff was so friendly and helpful.

Cons: Only thing was the room facilities was complete. TV was not working, fireplace logs were not there. And we paid for that which we didn’t even get the complete service.

Beautiful location for a weeding

Pros: Loved the view from my room! And the rooms were a great size

Cons: A lot of walking and getting luggage to room was a challenge

A memorable and romantic honeymoon getaway with beautiful scenery, great service, and a touch of adventure.

Pros: We stayed at Rocky Crest Golf Resort for our honeymoon, and it was a wonderful experience. They surprised us with complimentary champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, which made our stay feel extra special. The resort is set in a stunning natural location, and the room was very comfortable and clean. We also had a canoeing adventure that took an unexpected turn when we got caught in a storm and stranded on a far island—but the staff handled the situation calmly and did their best to bring us back safely and efficiently. The nearby restaurants served excellent food, adding to the overall experience.

Cons: There wasn’t much to dislike! The only thing I would mention is that the bathroom didn’t have a toothbrush or toothpaste, which would have been a nice touch.

Pros: Property was beautiful and well kept. Pool cleaned daily and the abundance of water activities was awesome. Our kids did not leave the lake all weekend!

Cons: They could use a bigger fire pit or set a time limit. We never got to do snores with the kids. People sat down both days and hogged the 6 or 7 chairs and wouldn’t move. Our kids never got a chance to get in to make them.
