Romantic winter getaway with beautiful views, but limited winter services and a short drive to town

Pros: The view of Lake Muskoka was breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful, even in snowy January. The spa is a must - RMT Nick gives a great massage and we enjoyed all the spa amenities: sauna, steam room and the outdoor hot tub. Nothing like a hot tub in the winter! Lovely romantic getaway with my hubby!

Cons: The restaurant was closed for the first few weeks of January. The “complimentary” muffins were packaged (not fresh) and the coffee was substandard. They need to up their breakfast snack game, even during the off season. Also the superior room has a beautiful view but the room is small. The bed sheets had blood stains and there were two empty pizza boxes on the balcony from the previous guests when we arrived.

We had a wonderful time, and we would definitely be returning.

Pros: Really nice resort at a great location, and the views (from both our room and from the docks) were excellent. Good facilities with very calming atmosphere. Very friendly and accommodating staff - really appreciated. Steam room and dry sauna were superb. Very close to the town of Bracebridge.

Cons: Bed mattress needs replacement - it was lumpy, although we did have good sleep. Walk-in shower is too small/narrow. Many years ago, your main restaurant offered five star menus. This time, although the food was good, it wasn't memorable - not a complaint, but somewhat disappointing.

Wonderful family weekend at Touchstone Resort in Muskoka

Pros: Have been visiting this resort in the beautiful Muskoka Lakes region for many years . The facilities are excellent and offer a variety of recreational and leisure activities.

Cons: No comments.

Touchstone Resort: A Memorable and Peaceful Escape

Pros: We had an amazing experience at Touchstone Resort! . Everything was just perfect. Our one-bedroom suite was amazing, especially with the breathtaking sunrise view right from our room. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and gave us the relaxing Muskoka getaway we were looking for. We also loved the easy beach access, which made it even more enjoyable — the perfect spot to unwind and take in the natural beauty around us. The resort itself is stunning, and the service made us feel well taken care of. Would definitely recommend Touchstone to anyone looking for a peaceful and refreshing escape in Muskoka!

Cons: We had an amazing experience at Touchstone Resort! When we first arrived, we were given our room but noticed it hadn’t been cleaned yet. We informed the staff, and they immediately sent someone to take care of it. The situation was handled so quickly and professionally that it didn’t affect our stay at all

Lovely condo with breathtaking view of the lake.

Pros: Beautiful view of the lake! Comfortable beds and furniture. Well-equipped kitchen. Very enjoyable to spend time relaxing on the balcony.

Cons: Everything was nice.

I would go again but for a suite with a more luxurious accommodation

Pros: Staff were wonderful. Loved the location and mornings waking up to beautiful serene scenery!

Really beautiful and I’m sure it would be spectacular in the summer.

Pros: There was plenty of space. The suite was beautiful, and clean.

Cons: The driveway was very dark. Considering that you have to drive from the suite to the main chalet for dinner, it would have been nice to see where we were going. It would also be nice to have a little carpet for our wet shoes when we walk into our actual suite. There was one in the little vestibule but I wouldn’t take my shoes off and leave them there.

Pros: We spent 3 night on new year and it was very nice and quit place we enjoyed wih my family :)

FABTASTIC!

Pros: Bed was comfy, stocked kitchen was nice, deep soaker tub.

Cons: Downside. Lake view room in west boathouse had no fireplace and room was smaller for more money. No signs on main roads for beach and you had to walk on road there were no stairs from upper parking to beach.

Pros: Very spacious, beautiful view of the lake, and very private and quiet. Will be back.
