Harrogate House Inn

A beautiful, charming stay in the heart of Niagara on the Lake.

Pros: The property was very comfortable, and full of old world charm. It is very close to the heart of the town and handy for restaurants. The hosts were very friendly and helpful

Quaint guesthouse in the most beautiful town in Ontario

Pros: This is a beautiful guest house in the centre of the gorgeous Niagara on the Lake. The location is amazing, just one block off the Main Street and very easy access to all the shops, bars and restaurants in the Niagara on the Lake. We also used it as a great base to explore the Niagara Falls and the surrounding wine region. The guest house itself is beautiful. The building is very quaint and the rooms are spacious, well equipped and comfortable with pleasant decor. We really loved the personability from our two hosts. They concocted a beautiful breakfast each morning and were very friendly and had useful tips about the nearby town. We also found that they were very generous with additional ice, glass wear and coffee. We came here primarily to see Niagara Falls but I would totally recommend staying in Harrogate House in Niagara on the Lake as it is much more beautiful than the town of Niagara itself. We’d love to come back and would strongly recommend this to anyone travelling here.

Perfectly located

Pros: A very homely perfectly located property to explore Niagara on the Lake. Owners were kind, friendly and gave a very warm welcome.

Cons: Appreciate its location, however, it was very expensive. An extra slice of toast for breakfast would have been greatly appreciated.

Wonderful small inn located centrally in town so everything is in walking distance

Pros: This is a wonderful small property located right in the centre of Niagara on the Lake. The hosts Kent and Elizabeth were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. The breakfasts were exceptional with the best pancakes we have ever had in a restaurant or inn. There is a nice sitting area and breakfast room which is available to relax and look out on the gardens and the activity on the street. The on-site parking is a great extra as you are able to safely park your car and walk to shopping, restaurants, and both theatres for the Shaw Festival. Located in an historic house so don’t expect a gym or pool it is not that style of accommodation but excels in what is has to offer. Quiet and relaxed. Definitely a must visit again property.

Cons: Not one thing.

Pros: The room was impeccable and very high end with robes and slippers. The hosts were so warm and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and a wonderful setting.

Our new favorite NOTL Inn

Pros: We loved our stay at the Harrogate House Inn! The hosts are lovely, our room and the Inn itself was comfortable, stylish, and inviting, and we ended it all with a great breakfast! You can tell that a lot of love and attention is put into all parts of their guests stay. We will definitely be back!

A perfect getaway destination in every way

Pros: Owners Kent and Elisabeth were so welcoming and friendly. Breakfasts were awesome!

Fabulous Inn with great hosts in a wonderful location

Pros: Despite delays in our flight and car hire, we were warmly met by Elizabeth and Kenton who were the best hosts. The Harrogate House Inn is absolutely lovely: rooms comfortable and marvelous breakfasts. Elizabeth and Kenton gave us lots of local information and even made a booking at a local restaurant for us. The location is also great being close to the 'high street' and within easy walking distance of the lake, etc.

Ideal location and wonderful hosts!

Pros: Owners Kent and Elizabeth are delightful hosts. Kent is a trained chef and breakfasts were superb. Wonderful outside sitting area, if you so choose for breakfast or relaxing during the day. Also, location is perfect for an easy walk to restaurants or downtown area.

Cons: If I get a little picky it would be we like having a fridge in our room. However, there was a community fridge available for keeping your wine or other beverages cool.
