Pros: Very nice place, lots of historic items displayed in main room. Gallery room has lots of windows that provided great views of lake.

Near the lake, with a great Breakfast made to order!

Pros: The place is adorable! The location is extremely convenient, just a short walk to the main street, and also right in front of the lake. The common areas are pretty cozy! I loved the camera collection and the breakfast!

Very nearly perfect !

Pros: Its location is perfect, being just a few short blocks from just about everything you may want to see or do in the old town, plus it overlooks the lake. Staff were most friendly and helpful

Cons: These aren't dislikes, but simple suggestions to make stays even better: - having tea and coffee facilities on the landing is OK. But if the rooms had dressing gowns available to use, guests could make their own early-morning tea upon waking up. Or put kettles cups, etc, in the rooms as is done in the UK. - the cooked breakfast options were lovely, but it would be nice to have cereals too - on a help-yourself basis - and marmalade, honey, peanut butter mini-pots in addition to jam.

We really enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Breakfast was great. Beds were very comfortable. Coffee station was very nice. The antiques in the living room were very interesting.

Cons: Floors in hallways were a little creaky. The sound proofing is not great.

Wonderful stay

Pros: The ambiance, the coffee/tea stations, the lovely room, the helpful staff, the fantastic location. They weren't fully booked up so our hostess gave us a choice from a couple of rooms. We ended up with a free upgrade. Came for Shaw Festival so the location is excellent and to downtown.

Charming, home from home.

Pros: Delightful character town house .Easy check in, parking and welcoming relaxed feeling. Lovely communal lounge, interesting artefacts and local history. Delicious breakfast, interesting conversations with other guests. Fabulous location near to Lake Ontario. A view of Toronto in the distance . Lovely local shops and restaurants. Great wine growing region.
