Pros: Nandini was the receptionist who helped me. Although there was no lift. She offered to help me up as she felt bad for me as I had a lots of heavy bags which was really sweet of her. She made sure I had everything I needed. The heating was amazing, I was afraid I was going to be cold but I wasn’t cold one bit. The wallpapers were bit old… but I just needed somewhere to sleep and I slept very comfortably.

Cons: The wallpapers need changing as they’re ripped. The area isn’t the safest at night so if you’re a girl I wouldn’t recommend walking on your own in alleyways.

Lovely place to stay.

Pros: After being let down by another property, I arrived here at around midnight and was immediately shown to my room. The rooms were small, but had everything I needed after the very long day of travelling I’d had.

Cons: Nothing.

Very pleasant but basic, won't do better for this price.

Pros: This is the best accommodation you will find in this price range for downtown Toronto. The staff are extremely helpful. Not a lot of added amenities, but if all you need is clean and comfortable, this is tops.

Cons: The coffee station could use a refresh. The dairy was curdled and sugar packets hard. Very small fix and didn't really inhibit my enjoyment overall.

Pleasant Surprise

Pros: Beds were great, 24hr suishi across street. Cash only and the breakfast is equivalent to a packed lunch

Cons: Was a bit noisey but your downt town and streetcars are 24hr

It was a pleasant experience.

Pros: I l iked the front desk attendant He was very professional yet friendly. He was very helpful in directing us to a nice place to eat. In addition coffee and tea was available throughout and the breakfast menu was satisfactory

Cons: I didn't like that I had to pay for Insurance when I arrived as I wasn't aware of it before However it was returned to me on checkout and so it turned out fine

Pros: Good value for money with easy access to the streetcar (literally right outside the hotel entrance), and downtown.

Cons: The stairs, lol. This is a small, historic hotel without an elevator.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful! It was close by to where I was going in the city

Cons: The location wasn't the greatest, a lot of questionable characters on the block The price was a little steep for the value of what I got

great place to stay when travelling on a budget!

Pros: It's fairly close to Union station, the Eaton's centre and Dundas square is within walking distance, and street car lines close by. Staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast is good, rooms/bathrooms are clean, like the fun decor

Cons: having to go up stairs
