Pros: Location is fine. Did not have breakfast there. Excellent restaurant upstairs. Great staff and service.

Cons: Our room was too small. Also needed a second chair.

Historical building but with a modern, elegant twist! You will NOT be disappointed.

Pros: Absolutely loved our stay at The Postmark Hotel! We drove in from Waterloo for a conference the following day. The hotel was quite luxurious, clean, and with all of the necessary amenities to make our stay the most comfortable. The front desk reception staff was so friendly and warm, making a great first impression. Parking was convenient as well! Highly recommend this hotel if you are in the New Market/surrounding area! It is also walking distance from many restaurants and coffee shops.

Cons: We headed to The Postmark Hotel straight from work and had a 2.5 hour commute from Kitchener-Waterloo with traffic. We were tired upon our arrival, but wanted to see the rooftop view (the woman at the front desk also highly recommended it). When we arrived at the rooftop restaurant (which is STUNNING), I was disappointed to see that the staff weren't the most friendly. We were certainly underdressed, given the long road trip (nice top, jeans), but it quickly became evident that we were not wanted there. I noticed a server whisper something to another server. A Gem of a Getaway

Pros: The hotel itself was stunning and very chic. We found the staff, especially the wait staff exceptional, very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The location was fabulous, right in the heart of things but not noisy. The meal we had in the rooftop restaurant was sensational, well plated and full of flavour. We will definitely come again.

Cons: There was not 1 thing that didn't exceed our standards.

Pros: Post office touches, lobby happy hour, soft bathrobes. Great location for exploring Main Street

Two nights break away from visiting family

Pros: Comfortable bed, lovely covers,stylish room and kettle

Cons: Only two milks for two people, no biscuits, couldn’t turn the tv up, it was really annoying. For the price paid we would have expected at least a continental breakfast.

Breakfast on the roof with Coffee?

Pros: I loved the rooftop bar, just a bit disappointed they don't open it for a Coffee and Croissant in the morning, I find it strange they wouldn't take advantage of breakfast outdoors on the roof during summer? Great rooms and great stay

Cons: Was a bit noisy during my stay the fire alarm went off and rang for ages, there seems to be a lot of noise that filters through under the door.

Beautiful hotel in renovated historic post office.

Pros: Boutique hotel in the converted Newmarket post office building. Very pleasant and attentive staff. More expensive than we normally book but we secured a special rate on booking.com. Right on the centre of beautiful historic Newmarket.

Cons: The lighting and climate systems seem unnecessarily complicated. Younger people would love it. I felt like I needed an owner's mannual. Buffet breakfast was expensive so we passed.

A wonderful place to stay

Pros: The hotel is relatively new so all facilities are up to date and very comfortable. The rooftop restaurant and balcony lounge are great - spacious and light filled places to eat and drink. I didn’t eat in the restaurant but the cocktails were delicious. The location is great too. Personally, I don’t know why anyone would choose to stay at one of the big chain motorway hotels nearby. However, I do hope the owners appreciate that their main asset is the EXCEPTIONAL staff. Everyone was so professional, friendly and helpful. I’d say that’s pretty rare. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again but it will be for the lovely and attentive staff, not for the fancy light fittings!

Cons: A complimentary bottle of mineral water would be much appreciated. I was surprised not to see one when I arrived.

Beautiful, clean hotel. Close location to downtown, great breakfast, stylish comfortable room.

Pros: Location was perfect, close to everything. Breakfast was great, nicely decorated restaurant- would love to see the outdoor patio when warmer/opens. Loved the decor of the room, very clean, comfortable & stylish.

Cons: The main floor coffee bar was closed when we wanted a quick morning bite, as was the main floor lounge bar when we came back after dinner. The website didn't say it wasn't open, nor did the reception staff. And we also weren't told that we could have gone to the upstairs restaurant for a drink instead, a slight oversight. And it was acknowledged by the hotel when I commented on it. But I assume staffing issues or weekend hours when not peak season. Parking onsite is small & tight. All that said, we will still choose to stay there on our next trip to Newmarket, as these were minor issues.
