Great short getaway in small-town Ontario!

Pros: This hotel is located in a beautiful area near Ingersoll, Ontario. It was just a short drive to visit the cheese museum and downtown. The grounds are beautiful with a short, easy nature trail to explore the grounds. The staff were attentive and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Excellent weekend for a family Christmas trip.

Pros: The food was excellent and the staff friendly and welcoming.

Cons: Extremely firm beds. This arthritic body needs something softer. My hips were unhappy.

The Elmhurst is a beautiful older hotel. Food was delicious, spa services lovely , just a bit underw

Pros: Very convenient! Staff extremely helpful. Breakfast was included and it was very good.

Cons: I felt for that it was a bit pricey. 2 rooms lunch dinner and spa service was a lot. A bundle package should be offered.i could have gone on an all inclusive for what I payed for one night.

Relaxing two nights away in an inn with beautiful grounds.

Pros: Location was good being only a couple of hours drive and close to 401. Breakfast was ok. Could do with a better selection of ingredients for an omelet. Also, fried eggs would be nice.

Cons: My wife enjoyed her dinner very much. I did not. All the main courses had the likes of stuffed spinach. The course could not be served without these and I do not like these. Ended up with two starters - seafood board that was just ok and a Caesar salad that was not good.

It was very pleasant. I have eaten at the restaurant several times. I enjoyed my stay!

Pros: The breakfast was excellent. However, if I had known there was an omelette station, I would have had that instead of scrambled eggs. The coffee was delicious.

Cons: There could have been a grab bar in the shower. As a senior, I am very dependent on these devices for my safety. I would also appreciate a second comfortable chair in the room so no one has to always sit on the bed.
