Comfort Inn

I enjoyed my stay and would return to the Comfort Inn in warmer weather.

Pros: The interior was very clean; I liked that very much. They thought of everything, including sockets for device-charging located at the base of the lamps, shower curtains that were lined, meaning that the interior liner could be placed on the inside of the tub, stopping any water from splashing onto the floor. I like a dry floor, so I appreciated this very much. There was a fridge, a microwave and a percolator in the room. We did not use the TV but I liked the size of the screen. The Internet connection was very good. The room was comfortable; we had what we needed. Breakfast was good; reasonable variety even for those with food allergies and special diets. The location is quiet, so sleep was restful. The only noise we heard was from excited young people passing outside our door.

Cons: The exterior - the snow was not shoveled. I have mobility issues and it was difficult for me to walk on the neglected grounds. Even the few steps from my car to the door of the hotel were treacherous. I did notice, however, that the roads in Orillia were not plowed, even the main roads, nor were the grocery store and mall parking lots, so I thought, \

Stayed Twice, Excellent Both Times

Pros: The staff are amazing! We have stayed at the Comfort Inn twice now and they always make you feel welcomed. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, nice hot shower, microwave oven in the room and a mini fridge. The breakfast is the best I've ever had as an inclusion at a hotel. The lady that runs the breakfast is so awesome. There is always either bacon or sausage, one type of egg (we had scrambled the first time and a cheese omelet the second stay), potatoes, muffins, lots of toast options, a waffle maker, yogurt and fresh fruit. We will never stay anywhere else when we're in Orillia. It's also pet friendly and our doggo loves being there!

Cons: Nothing. I have zero complaints.

Pros: Location was good. Being put on the second floor with no elevator and carrying a lot of things was a inconvenience.

Cons: Told us there was no elevator. Also have 2 people to book people in. There was only 1 person to register people.

Pros: Great breakfast. Central for shopping but a bit far for the Casino

Pros: Friendly staff. I was still recovering from surgery and used a walker so I appreciated them putting us in a room close to the front of the hotel. The room was very clean and there was a very good assortment of food for breakfast.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.

Pros: Location to restaurants and shopping was very good. Hot breakfast was a good variety and had plenty to offer. Beds were clean and comfortable.

Cons: Poor lighting and TV channels were limited for the price we paid.

Pros: Location perfect, bed and especially pillows very comfy

Pros: Coffee available 24/7. Easy parking. Room on the first floor ( no elevator ) Easy TV

Cons: I did not mlike the bathtub in the washroom because I cannot climb over the lip of the bathtubn due to mobility issues. I found the breakfast area crowded and noisy in the morning, but the food was good. The location was far from Casino Rama.

Pros: The comfort inn was in a great location. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Found it very central to all attractions.

Pros: The bed was so comfortable. The front desk staff were all very friendly.

Cons: No complaints here.
