Pros: Front desk staff was great. Super helpful on check in and questions I had

Cons: Some people might find the place a bit dated. It's clean. It's comfy. Basement level you hear subway noise but that didn't bother us. Plus it's the TTC and stops at like midnight lol

Great location, lots of character, lovely staff

Pros: I loved the beautifully preserved woodwork, the eclectic layout of the building and the quiet room

Cons: It could have been helpful for the checkin location to be a little more clear. But the staff were really friendly and helpful

Thank you for the great service, comfy, cool rooms.

Pros: All of the employees were kind and helpful. The houseman kept me stocked with coffee and creamer and helped carry my luggage!

Great, well-located hotel in historic building

Pros: This is an extremely well-located hotel in a charming heritage building. Surprisingly we experienced no noise from the pub next door! The room was spacious and had a charming view.

Cons: The mattresses could use a refresh, and many wall switches don't control the lights anymore. Using the desk/nightstand lights was fine but some more ceiling lighting would be nice.

Pros: Perfect location, super bouncy beds, it was cute like staying at your grandparents. Really clean too. Parking is cheap, the pub is awesome.

Cons: We checked out around 9:30am, no front desk staff, so left and hoped they'll do it for us. Didn't like that room cards are left unattended when staff not present.

Pros: Cleanliness. Literally steps to Spadina station (if using the back exit). Friendly/accommodating staff - receptionist and cleaners. It's also close to a lot of dining options. 7 Eleven Store and Metro Grocery Store nearby.

Very enjoyable stay with friendly staff.

Pros: The room was very spacious and had a great atmosphere. overall very enjoyable and would stay there again.

Cons: Checkout was at 11 and a gentleman came to clean at 9:30 which I thought was a bit early. There was also a pack of cigarettes in a decorative dish I think cleaning missed from the previous guest.
