A comfortable and affordable stay in Toronto
Pros: The hotel is very close to subway which makes navigating Toronto pretty easy. The room was well equipped with a fridge and a microwave. It also had a bathtub. The bed was nicely firm but could squeak sometimes. The breakfast although quite basic was free and was sufficient for me.
Cons: You can’t open the windows in the room and the aircon is very dated, loud and not effective (I kept it turned off relying on the ventilation). So the room could get quite stuffy. That’s the only thing that needs to be changed, in my mind.

Just needs better signs. Otherwise, great value for money.
Pros: It was a clean room. Continental breakfast had good variety. Location and price of the hotel were quite good.
Cons: The signage could be better about where the front desk was. I walked around for a while before I found a sign directing us to the front desk.

Convenient for ColdPlay
Pros: Very convenient for ColdPlay concert at Roger’s Stadium and free car parking. Booked room was not available at check in time, so we got a free upgrade to an “apartment-style” room with 2 bedrooms - that was nice.
Cons: Free breakfast was poor (bagel, jam, coffee, banana- but no cheese or meats etc.). It would be embarrassing to ask for payment, so understand why it was free !!

Book this hotel for concerts at Rogers Stadium!
Pros: Room very spacious. Staff rostered for July 11 were extremely helpful and friendly, their customer service is to be commended.
Cons: External signage indicating entrance needs to be more visible. Please note there is no fridge or microwave in room and needs to be requested beforehand.

Pros: Good value for the price. The room (a large and clean studio) was well-equipped with a fridge, microwave, and sink. While the furnishings were a bit dated, everything was functional and well-maintained. The hotel is conveniently located, close to both a bus stop and a metro station. Nevertheless, it still takes about 50 minutes to reach Downtown Toronto. The city tax increased after I booked through Booking.com, but the hotel honored the original rate, which I appreciated.
Cons: The continental breakfast was very basic. I only found out on the last day that it was possible to request eggs. A small sign or note would have been helpful.

Good clean budget hotel
Pros: Clean, quiet basic inexpensive hotel. Huge bathroom, large room, late checkout not an issue, attentive, friendly housekeeping staff.
Cons: Old keys, only one elevator was working, hard to pull into drive due to Sheppard intersection and 18 wheelers, small basic TV, limited power outlets accessible, no luggage rack, no fridge (room 404))

2024 summer vacation road trip.
Pros: Our first room had issues, hair in one of the beds & mattresse was stained several places & both beds were very worked out. The service maid was amazing in getting us another a newly renovated room and making sure we were taken care of and ok! The breakfast customer service was excellent as was the room service maid.
Cons: Checking inn reception was a bit “rough”.
