Hampton Inn Peterborough

Enjoyed our stay but a bit pricey for its location.

Pros: Breakfast was great and the young fellow working there did a great job

Cons: Location a bit far from the downtown. Cost $30 for a cab.

Pros: The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly.

Cons: Breakfast offering was limited. He provision of paper plates and plastic cutlery was a real disappointment. For the price we paid, I would expect proper plates and cutlery.

We really enjoyed out stay at this hotel, especially with the size of the rooms.

Pros: Absolutely loved the size of the room. It was finally so nice to have a hotel that offered a room big enough for a family to move around and not be on top of each other at every move. I liked that the toilet and shower area was separate from the sink area. It made it much easier to get ready in.

Cons: The bathroom for this size room seemed to be on the smaller side. There was also no fan in the bathroom that we could find and the steam stayed for some time. There are no tables on the outside of the beds which is quite annoying. If someone wants to rest their phone or if they have a CPAP machine, want a glass of water near them, that wasn't possible to do. My last issue would be the miniscule size of garbage can. The can is already on the smallest size I've ever seen for a garbage can but then you split it in half for recycle and garbage. Please invest in a larger and separate recycle and garbage bin for the rooms.

Pros: Lovely room, clean and spacious with a lovely comfortable bed. Super shower with lots of hot water and quality toiletries. Included breakfast so good value for money.

Cons: A restaurant and bar would be good.

Stay-cation.

Pros: Breakfast was great. The pool was clean and great (wish it was a tad warmer in the morning time). Staff were friendly and helpful. The whole building was clean.

Cons: No parking. I was super lucky someone happen to pull out after waiting 10 minutes for a spot. Maybe make a deal with the casino behind the hotel? 15 spots does not seem like enough parking. ?

Clean and comfortably designed hotel room

Comfortable hotel, very easy to access. Happy with our stay!

Lovely overnight stay in a tastefully decorated quiet hotel

Pros: New hotel, decorated very tastefully. Bedrooms very nice, comfortable beds with lovely quilts. Toiletries in the bathroom and lots of charging points beside the beds. Quiet area too. Remote controlled black out blinds were a plus.

Cons: Breakfast was basic and cutlery and plates were disposable. The only thing missing in the room was a safe.

Clean, comfortable, good value

Pros: Very nice and clean hotel. I've stayed at a few Hampton Inns and this is a good brand for the value. Nothing fancy, but clean and updated. It is a bit out of the way from the city centre, but it's an easy hop off the 115 if you're only passing through. There's a Tim Horton's right besides it, which is convenient.

Cons: The included breakfast is not the greatest. It's clearly cooked in batches ahead of time, so not the freshest. But if you're not picky and you're only looking for something to fill you up, that's fine enough. There's also a Tim Horton's right besides the hotel if you fancy something else.

Coming to Peterborough, I would certainly make this my hotel of choice.

Pros: The hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The room was very spacious. The breakfast was the best I have had at a hotel in quite a while

Cons: The parking was a problem: the main hotel lot was full - being next to a Casino I suspect hotel parking spots were taken by Casino visitors. I had to park at the Casino in spaces marked for hotel guests. It was a bit of a walk to the hotel.
