The Village Inn of Lakefield

Comfortable inn in a great location.

Pros: Great location. Friendly staff. Large room. Comfortable bed.

Cons: Bathroom needs renovation.

Pros: Morning Continental Breakfast was generous and varied.

Pros: Beautiful clean room on ground floor. Comfy beds. Easy check-in. Parking is included. A continental breakfast with lots to choose from is included with items carefully labeled. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would stay again.

A very enjoyable stay

Pros: It has a very decent and cozy breakfast room. A lot of choices for a continental breakfast. The room is large, clean and well-lit. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in the middle of the small town and is an easy walk to the riverside, which is superb for a scenic walk.

Cons: The pillows can be firmer. Other than that, no complaint.

Surprisingly nice

Pros: We chose the hotel because it was pet friendly. We like to travel with our dog and being able to have him stay with us was great. The staff at the Village Inn were so friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. We loved the location. We didn’t take advantage of the breakfast which was included. We went to a local restaurant Jack’s (within walking distance) because we could bring our dog with us (outside patio). Overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Great stay downtown Lakefield

Pros: Newly updated and well maintained property. It has lakehouse vibes, and it's close to shops and cafes. It was quiet and offered a good selection for continental breakfast. Very friendly and welcoming customer service.

Pros: It was so comfortable, and quiet. Thanks for accommodating our dear sister-in-law who joined us for a visit over breakfast! Lakefield is a lovely little town and the bakery across the street had a locally made elderberry syrup that our brother in-law will be blessed with during this cancer journey. Great stopping place! Next time we will stay longer!!

Pros: Staff was helpful and accommodated us for an early check in. We also ran an event onsite and the meeting room was comfortable, washrooms were clean and stocked. Thank you!

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful.. the continental breakfast was good. We were in the middle of an ice storm without power for a lengthy period but facilities maintained hot water and provide lanterns. Exceptional considering conditions
