Pros: This has become a tradition for me and my two grandaughters....we live in port hope....I work Wednesday till 4 and have Thursdays off.....what a great march break treat.....the pool is their favourite.....breakfast is a close second....

A disappointed traveller

Pros: The one king was spacious. Bed was very comfortable. The lobby was nice and fresh looking. Nice modern design.

Cons: Bed sheets too thin. Time for upgrade to better quality. Bath towels were terrible, too small and too thin. Breakfast was a big disappointment, sausages looked dead. Not many varieties for muffins, only blueberries. Orange juice was too watered down. Coffee was weak.

Will come again

Pros: I originally made a mistake and booked for December, but I actually meant to come this weekend. The Hampton Inn was very kind and allowed me to change the booking dates, even though my original option did not allow cancellations. I’m really grateful for that. Also, I appreciate the drinks available in the lobby and the bright, comfortable space for working in the evening. In addition, the room even had double-layer blackout curtains—something I had never seen before! My child needs a dark environment to sleep, and these curtains worked perfectly, much better than those in other hotels.

My husband and I would recommend the hotel and were pleased with everything.

Pros: We really enjoyed the selections available to us. Everything was fresh and the area was clean and appealing. Karen who ran the kitchen and eating area was both friendly and helpful.

Cons: We were very satisfied with everything and could find nothing to be concerned with.

Pros: The hotel is very clean. Coffee is always available in the lobby, and the facilities are relatively new. This is my second time staying here.

Cons: The breakfast options are too simple, and they remained the same with no variety during my three-night stay. The hotel room rates are relatively high, especially the prices on weekends.

Enjoyable

Pros: Nice big, clean room, great free breakfast and good swimming pool.

We'll be back!

Pros: Our room was lovely and spacious. It was very clean. The bathroom is well laid out. Breakfast was hardy and ample. The amenities were great.

Cons: Our only complaint is that the bed mattress was too soft.

A Wonderful Place to Stay in Port Hope

Pros: The room was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The entire facility was clean and well cared for. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was good with lots of variety, but it would have been nice to see more fresh fruit options.

Loved it!

Pros: The breakfast buffet is my favourite part! I will come back again and again just for that breakfast buffet! And the pool was open and we had a wonderful time swimming! The pool could have been a tad warmer.

Cons: The only thing is the door to our bathroom in our room was a sliding, barn door style and it never properly closes and slowly opens when I'm trying to use the bathroom.

Pros: The gentleman behind the counter couldn't be more accommodating. A true gentleman.
