Portugal 🇵🇹

Pros: Big hostel but good value for Toronto. Staff was helpful and friendly and the complimentary breakfast was great. Near public transport that will take you anywhere. Also lots of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets near by. Privacy curtains and lockers in the room

Cons: Not their fault but some of other customers there are, clearly, first timers in hostels, don't knowing how to behave in dorm rooms. Maybe some recommendations at check in would be helpful

Well run and incredible location.

Pros: This hostel is great value for the location - nothing fancy but everything you need and very well run.

Cons: The ability to cool down our room at night without having to open a window would have been a bonus.

Cheap (in a good way), comfortable

Pros: Bunk dorms were cosy other than the fact that I had the unfortunate luck of having a very loud snorer in my dorm but that can’t be helped. Staff were very nice and helpful and location couldn’t be much better

Cons: Just the snorer but that’s out of the hosts control

Budget stay and good value

Pros: Free breakfast, great location in Kensington by all the shops. A bit far from train but I just took Uber. Have curtains around your bunk and individual power outlet.

Cons: Nothing, it’s a hostel so can’t expect anything more.

Very pleasent stay in Toronto

Pros: I just spent one night at Samesun. The staff was friendly, there was free breakfast and luggage storage space to leave my bags.The shower and the toilet were clean, the bed was comfortable and the street was quiet at night.

perfect location in kensington market

Pros: Great breakfast, very friendly staff, and a perfect location! My love for Kensington Market and Chinatown is the main reason I enjoyed staying here.

Cons: Although daily activities were promised, none were actually offered during my stay. I was disappointed, as I had been looking forward to participating.

Agreable stay

Pros: Honestly, I did not expect much before checking into this place. But for anyone traveling to explore Toronto on a budget, go to this place. It's clean and convenient. Breakfast is decent too. Value for money!

Cons: I found the space to be small to keep your luggage, but that's because I was in a room that has 8 beds. I met someone else who didn't have that problem because he was in a room with less beds for a higher price.
