Great value for money

Pros: For the price it was more than enough, all the basic and essential are there for the stay.

Cons: it’s student accommodation, so not the nicest but that can’t be avoided, makes up for it with the price

Pros: The view on the rooftop is incredible! Also the breakfast was really reasonable for a 2 stars. Enjoyed it!

Cons: I think the Hotel needs to make it much clearer when people book how much deposit needs to be paid when checking in. I didn't see anything on their website about a deposit and only found out it was $150 when I arrived. Also, they need to make it clear if the deposit it withdrawn from people's bank account immediately. When I left i had problems finding out when the deposit was to be returned and when checking my back statement I could see no record of the deposit being withdrawn so what is the deposit process at the hotel EXACTLY! This must be made clear for future visits by me or other people.

Great, affordable and excellent location

Pros: After reading a few of the lowest reviews I was a bit concerned about the cleanliness of the common spaces and the lack of quality of the breakfast, but considering the price I decided to book it anyway. This accommodation really exceeded my expectations. I went during high season for a couple nights and I barely saw anyone on my floor, both bathrooms and common areas on my sector were clean and I felt comfortable using them :) Breakfast was quite decent, mostly considering that you can only choose five items, but I usually choose stuff I could take to eat through the rest of the day :) The hotel also provides free luggage storage both for the day you check in and out which was quite handy. The view both from the room (5th floor) and the rooftop (23rd floor) were AMAZING!

Cons: Before booking I read the lowest reviews and honestly most of them were because people didn’t care to read the specifications of the accommodation. The bed had only the 2 beds and a desk as expected (no decor whatsoever which isn’t great but being a student residence it makes sense). The only unfortunate thing was the heat, but I already knew the room had no AC, only a fan. Overall the fan helped to cool off and by the time we went to bed the temperature was cool enough to turn off the fan (since it could be quite noisy).

Pros: There is a shower with a hose in the basement. For some reason it is hard to find a shower with a hose in Canada o_O

Pros: The location and the staff hospitality, the roof top deck view at night

Cons: quality of beds and in bathrooms some things were not working. We stayed on 7th floor C suiteOverall it was fine but it could have been very good.

Affordable student accomodation

Pros: Simple student accomodation, central in Toronto. Breakfast included, 24 reception, safe. Great staff.

Cons: No airconditioner, but fan. Kitchen but no utensils. No microwave.

very pleasant budget option, best for solo travellers.

Pros: I stayed here before 2 years ago, and nothing has changed. Its very basic but that is reflected in the price, the location is excellent, its great value for money. A no thrills base to stay and get your head down, a decent breakfast is provided. This is not for young families or those with a `peel me a grape` attitude towards life. It does what it says on the tin, and very well.

Cons: The lifts are a bit cumbersome but its a minor negative. Some herbert took my coke bottle from the communal fridge, not the hotels fault though.
