Home in Downtown

Pros: Overall it was a perfect experience. Check in was easy, host communication was great.

Cons: Neighborhood was interesting, but for the price and whole experience it can't be beat.

I booked for two,but came alone.the room was small,It would have been very uncomfortable for two.

Pros: Good quiet location. Good local restuarants. Very clean and well presented. Met and welcomed by friendly and helpful owner.

Cons: Very small Bedroom with two single beds, As I was staying for one night. I would have appreciated the possibility of being able to have the basics to put a breakfast together without having to go and shop for things.There was instant coffee, but no fresh milk, bread, tea,sugar or cereals. There were bananas.A jar was available with a note to ask you to contribute for what you have used,I could find no tea, but I did put a few dollars in for the instant coffee with coffee mate...yukk. I left a packet of my best Oxford Bleakest Tea, so hopefully it could please someone!

Welcoming and comfy place

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Eno’s place. She welcomed us with such kindness and made us feel at home. We truly appreciated her hospitality and will keep great memories of Toronto thanks to her.

Pros: Perfect stay! The host was super nice and welcoming, the room was comfortable and I liked that it was close enough to the city centre but at the same time in a quieter neighborhood. A supermarket right around the corner.

Pros: Eno's place is great, very comfortable, clean and has everything you need for a good stay. He's also the kindest host. Would definitely stay there again!

It's perfect place for rest!

Pros: It went very well. The location is very convenient, it was easy to find. Did not have any difficulties with check in. One minute and you are already resting in a clean, warm, soft bed after a long journey!

Cons: Nothing. Everything was great!

Wonderful place for a short stay in Toronto!

Pros: We had a really pleasant stay! The unit was clean, comfortable and convenient, everything you could ask for! Eno was also very friendly and great with communication, thanks so much for hosting us! Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Toronto 😊

Pros: We were greeted warmly by the host upon arrival. The home is very welcoming and the room is perfect for a weekend trip. Our host gave us water bottles, ear plugs, bananas and a ton of little extras amenities that you don't expect from a homestay. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. I liked that the bathroom had everything a girl needs (hairdryer, hair iron, pads, tampons etc.) A really good place for location and value :)

Cons: It wasn't the host's fault but the bathroom with shower is shared with the neighbouring room. Our neighbour was quiet but since we came back around the same time, we had to wait a while to use the shower.

Pros: Eno was very friendly and welcoming. The house was tidy and clean.

We've stayed in quite a few guest houses of similar type in Toronto, and this was by far the best.

Pros: Value for money, impeccably clean, friendly and communicative host, convenient downtown location. Access to kitchen, tea and even bananas provided.

Cons: The neighbourhood can be a bit rowdy at night, but we knew that, and Home in Downtown is on a quiet street. There were no issues. While the kitchen was generally well appointed, and there was a kettle and tea and instant coffee, we would have liked access to a coffee maker (even a simple cone).
