Guest House Basement - Master Bedrooms in Bayview Village

It was good. Not 5 star but the hosts are clearly putting effort to ensure that they stay is enjoyed

Pros: Accommodating my heating needs. Responding timelily to all messages. The candies that were laid out.

Cons: I prefer my bed harder than most people so it wasn't very comfortable. Double sheets on the bed so that guests sleep between two clean sheets and the duvet can be reused.

Neat

Pros: The property was clean and had a good kitchen space which guests could access. Bathroom in particular was in great condition. The host was really clear with instructions and helpful throughout my stay.

Cons: I would have liked. Kettle in the kitchen. The fridge was also quite noisy in the bedroom so I recommend placing the fridge in the shared kitchen to allow for a more peaceful sleep.

Amazing

Pros: It was way better than I expected and very neat and comfortable

Pros: The room was nice, it had a private bathroom. There was also a coffee machine with Keurig pods and dishes to use. Water turned hot quick and the room was pretty clean aside from some stains on the bathroom floor. The instructions given to check in were easy and getting in/out of the property was very easy and quick.

Cons: The location was a bit far from downtown Toronto, about 50 minutes by transit (but that was kind of expected). The bathroom floor looked a bit dirty but was ok overall. The room was quite hot overnight making it a bit difficult to sleep. I'm not sure if the owner would have changed the temperature if I had asked, so that's a bit on me.

Pros: The bed was comfortable and the fact that guests can semi self cater, a real bonus. Cleanliness was good and the quiet location with regular public transport.a short walk away was really brilliant The attractive pricing for the area with a decent room size and a power shower great value. To be near ammenities with lovely walking trails close by, and to be able to get to the city so easily in an hour or less was the real winner.

Cons: The room maybe lacked a more comfortable seat.

Pros: Close to the bus station and just a few stops from the subway. Everything was carefully arranged for an enjoyable experience. The host is a wonderful person and is consistently accessible.

Cons: The heating isn't sufficient, so wearing warm clothes inside may be necessary. The host offered a mini-heater as a solution.

Pros: The room was cozy and clean. The shower had a constant preasure of water. The attention of the host was kind and considerated. An excelent option in North York Toronto.

Lovely peaceful relaxing stsy

Pros: Lovely room in basement of property, very modern, clean and furnished with some great amenities like microwave and fridge.

Cons: It was quite warm in the room-not sure if room had air con but if not it could benefit from it

Very good deal, very clean and neat public transport to get you everywhere

Pros: Room was very clean and had good furnishings, like a fridge and a coffee machine. Bed was huge and really comfy to sleep in. The house is located near a bus stop (2-3 mins walk), which I was using pretty much daily to get downtown. Bus takes you to Finch station from which you can take line 1. The room is in the basement, which kept it pretty cool during hot days. The owner would turn on the central AC too, if needed. He also switched out my used towels for clean ones after my first week, which was really nice. The Wi-Fi was fast too.

Cons: The fridge would ramp up every now and then and produce some noise, being right next to the bed that was quite noticeable. I sleep pretty easily though, so it wasn’t that big of a deal for me.

Nice price/quality apartment with accessible transport connection

Pros: Amazing communication, very open-hearted and helpful host. I booked late, but did not have any problems getting into the apartment. It was very clean with many useful tools such as a microwave and a coffee machine. Very close to public transport. The bed was one of the nicest I’ve ever slept on: very soft and comfy!

Cons: I would make the apartment more cozy by putting a couch as we were lacking a nice spot to have coffee in the morning. For someone it might be a problem that the apartment is far away from the city center (it took us 40-50 min to get to the city), but the public transport is very accessible.
