Peaceful, beautiful, friendly stay

Pros: The owners were interesting, supportive and very well informed on heritage architecture and community events. The location was a treat, surrounded by agricultural fields. The 3 course breakfasts (!) were varied and delicious.

Cons: We didn't have any complaints.

Comfortable, Vintage Charm So Close to Town!

Pros: As a group of girls in their thirties, we had such a wonderful stay at The House of Elsie Bed and Breakfast in Niagara-on-the-Lake! The breakfasts Larry and Chrystal made were truly special. The eggs benedict and pancakes were absolutely delicious, the homemade sourdough toast was perfect, and the jams tasted so fresh and special. We also really enjoyed sharing the table and conversation with other guests—it added to the welcoming, home-like feeling. The house itself is full of history and charm. You could spend days enjoying the vintage art and books on property. You can tell that Larry and Chrystal truly care about preserving and sharing their beautiful old home for guests to enjoy. Even the cats, who were a little timid, were so sweet and added a cozy touch to the atmosphere. If you’re looking for a peaceful and comfortable place really close to downtown, this is the perfect spot. We are all looking forward to coming back in the future!

It's a great place to stay; it has character and charm. You will not be disappointed.

Pros: The owners Crystal & Charlie were lovely. They were hospitable, friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the history of the house. They gave great recommendations of things to do and places to eat. I would recommend The House of Elsie Bed & Breakfast to anyone looking for a great place to stay and an authentic B&B experience in the Niagara region.

Cons: There was nothing that we did not like about our stay or our experience.

Pros: Le site du B&B est magnifique, les chambres confortables, les hôtes Crystal et Larry avenants, les déjeuners sont excellents et favorisent les produits locaux, Bref, nous avons passé un séjour agréable.

Felt relaxing and welcoming.

Pros: Location was perfect - close to town and other areas of interest. Breakfasts were incredible - fresh and homemade! Hosts were helpful and friendly.

Cons: Towels could have been a little better. Other than that, house was welcoming and lovely.
