Great place to stay

Pros: The historical photos and stories about the families lived there. The antiquities and the old style furnishings make this a very comfortable place. I loved the entryway where there was a greenhouse/atrium. Plenty of photo worthy spots and even some horses in the back! Enjoy your stay it is a unique and beautiful experience.

Cons: We attempted to use the bar at about 10.30pm and rang the bell, no service. Then tried the landlines and no answer. I think you can use the bar just not sure of the hours and they aren't posted for some reason.

Perfect spot for a last minute getaway!

Pros: Lovely property in a great location; owners and staff were so friendly and helpful, gave us some great tips for places to visit nearby. Ideal spot to stay in the countryside and check out what the area has to offer!

Pros: What a beautiful old place full of history. Suzanne, the owner was also lovely along with the other staff. The rustic location was also wonderful.

Cons: This is only a tiny wish and purely subjective: a softer mattress.

Der Aufenthalt für eine Nacht hat uns aber sehr gefallen.

Pros: Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Das Personal erfüllte auch Extrawünsche.

Cons: Unser Zimmer, wie auch das Bett, waren ziemlich klein. Das Doppelbett stand sogar an der Wand. Es bestand fast keine Möglichkeit, die Koffer zu verstauen.
