A Lovely Treat
Pros: This hotel, outside and in, is absolutely gorgeous. It's like staying in an art gallery. Just love it. Beds are comfy and vibe can't be beat.
Cons: No fridge or microwave however a mini fridge was provided upon request. I said the same in my review 9 years ago. Post renovations, you'd think this would have changed, but I digress. New showers leak all over the floor causing wet feet just to use the toilet. This is common in hotels and I've never understood why. Better for cleaning I guess, but annoying for guests.

Pros: The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout my entire stay. The room itself was cozy and very well furnished with modern appliances. The hotel is fabulous, full of amazing modern art that supports local artists and the location is great. I couldn't recommend Gladstone House enough

Very enjoyable stay
Pros: We had a nice size room, with plenty of sunlight, a nice view, a moder updated look and feel. The staff was exceptionally polite and helpful without being professionally, emotionally distant , as it is so common nowadays. It was a personal nice experience. The beds we had were very, very comfortable and probably the best beds we have ever experienced in the hotel.
Cons: What was a little bit problematic was that there was no parking right by the hotel. We had a heavy snowstorm the night before and were forced to walk through the slush, on reduced walkways, back to the hotel, from our Park House, dowm the road. . For people with heavy luggage, and perhaps physical restrictions, this walk would have been impossible. Our shower room had the tendency to overflow , since the drain did not properly work, in the floor. But that is just nitpicking. We booked our room with booking.com, and the term other taxes was a bit of a throw off. To me, that's just means the original price you see, it's just a click bait.

Highly recommend this hotel!
Pros: Atmosphere (elegant building with antique manual elevator, lol), staff, amenities and food were great. Quaint little library and billiard rooms and a lovely liitle cafe on-site. Room was a nice combination of old and new, and perfectly functional. Also an incubator for developing artists: Their works are on display and add to the ambiance.
Cons: Parking is somewhat complicated and check-in / check-out is the same partially because of that. Having said that, now that I know the protocols it would be much better (we arrived in a snow storm so that made it all the more trying).

Experience of a old and new city life of Toronto
Pros: Very conveniently located to go places and find what you need to eat and drink
Cons: Aircon was very noisy, but it’s a heritage listed building and it’s a very cold winter there.

Stunning 1890s architecture, super cute rooms, comfy, and the breakfast was great
Pros: Amazing spot for a stay-cation! Super comfy and cute rooms set in an artsy and historic building. The bar and bistro downstairs are incredible for a friday night and saturday morning. Great drinks, great food, great people
Cons: The king loft facing queen street was a bit loud from street traffic and passers-by. The staff did inform us of this when we checking in, so its wasnt a surprise, but some light sleepers might have an issue with the noise level.
