It was wonderful. Walks on the beach and on the grounds in fall.

Pros: No breakfast included. Gorgeous grounds. Lovely staff. Comfy room and enjoyed the jet tub.

Cons: The gas fireplace was lovely, but set at too high a heat. The room was so hot, we had to turn on the air conditioner to counter it. We set the thermostat as low as possible, but it was still too hot.

It is a nice resort if you want to stay close to Sandbanks Provincial park.

Pros: We stayed at the resort on a Thanksgiving Day. The rooms was very nice with a little kitchen where meals could be cooked. We turned on heat as it was a cold evening when we arrived and the room heated up very quickly. Beds were a bit soft but comfortable. We had a good sleep. We ate breakfast at the resort restaurant. Fried eggs with potatoes and bacon (they do not make omelets).

Cons: kitchen sink drain was partially clogged.

Fantastic place to enjoy sandbanks

Pros: Absolutely perfect stay. Lodge was awesome. Amazing view on lake and personnel was very clear. That view on sandbanks from the private beach is absolutely stunning

Cons: Hard to tell anything

Pros: The receptionist at check in was very polite and had a very friendly disposition The room we rented was GREAT and SUPER clean..It had everything we needed. The Restaurant was AMAZING right on the water, super clean, friendly staff and food pretty good

Cons: All good....maybe parking could be more detailed as to where to park ...for our unit...

My family loved our stay and wished the weather was a bit nicer to fully enjoy all the amenities.

Pros: Location was perfect. The property was well laid out and kept clean. The views on the beach were simply stunning.

Cons: The unit was a bit outdated and the sofa bed was uncomfortable but we managed. Our kitchen was small but perhaps it was simply the unit we chose.

Pros: The tropical salad and the butternut squash soup were excellent!

Cons: I was very disappointed to see OCTOPUS on the menu! The octopus is one of the top seven most intelligent species on Earth! Please inform yourself about these awesome creatures that we humans have no right to kill and eat, and reconsider their presence on your menu.

Pros: The facility was a little old but the location and the setup were wonderful. The restaurant and the swimming pool were far better than we expected from photos.

Pros: There was no breakfast provided. I would have really liked real cream for my coffee in the morning, which was not available.

Beautiful place to stay.

Pros: It's a very picturesque location and it's nice and quiet. Great for getting some peaceful rest. Overall I would recommend staying here. But pick one of the cottages down by the water. It will be worth the extra price. We will explore the property even more next time.

Cons: The lights in the hallway outside the room we stayed in are extremely bright at night and illuminate the room through the door and window. It's far too bright for sleeping. Thank goodness we brought a blackout sheet to put over the window. But we still had to use the bed runners for the window on the door. If they were on a motion sensor, it would help a lot.
