It was a good option. I might stay there again.

Pros: The house was nice and up-to the expectations. The location is closer to the University of Waterloo and bus stop was just down the street.

Cons: I stayed there for eight nights however my room was cleaned only once during my entire stay.

Pros: There was complimentary coffee/tea and milk/ sugar provided, as well as spices for any cooking. The location was great. Carol was friendly and welcoming, the house was very clean and attractively furnished, with indoor and outdoor shared areas for sitting/ relaxing.

Cons: The room was a bit small for a queen size. It would have been helpful to know how many other guests were expected over the two days, so we would be aware of any late arrivals, or if our early morning departures would be disturbing anyone in the home. A list of available TV channels would be helpful.

Cozy and homey atmosphere, lovely neighbourhood and comfortable

Pros: I loved the location and accessibility to trails, St Jacobs and other great locations around the universities. I loved the kitchen and living areas, it felt cozy and at home.

Cons: I can't think of anything at the moment!

I left in a better frame of mind than when I arrived--an outcome of considerable value.

Pros: I immediately liked the owner, Carol, who met me when I arrived and provided good information to help my stay. Later, I appreciated that the house was so close to extensive walking/biking pathways, a close drive to University of Waterloo, and within walking distance (if one likes exercise) of grocery stores. The house, itself, was so much nicer than a hotel room. The assorted collection of teas, coffees, and spices, in addition to fresh milk in the refrigerator, plus a full complement of clean cutlery and dishes, offered convenience and contributed to my feeling welcomed. A variety of books, including one about T.E. Lawrence, and photographs from far-off places were fun discoveries. For my one-night stay, it was perfect.

Cons: I don't recall anything that I did not like. Since I was in the house alone, I can't comment on what it would be like with other guests. I am the sort that is tempted to sleep in a tent or vehicle while travelling; so for me, this was definitely a bit of a splurge. I made a good decision :)

Clean, comfortable, good value, but bureaucratically demanding stay.

Pros: Nice facilities, very clean, comfortable, as described. Extensive common spaces (living room, kitchen, deck, ...) Easy to access by car and parking just fine.

Cons: More bureaucratically demanding than most - need to e-sign a contract(!), pay on a different 3rd party site, security deposit is blocked (though returned promptly). Owner is of course fully entitled to do this (and being in a university town doubtless has ample reason to), but adds burden on guests compared to other options.

We will definitely consider booking here again.

Pros: The location was near the University of Waterloo and therefore ideal for us. The house was clean, everything was well maintained and very quiet.

Homey comfort in a quiet neighbourhood

Pros: Full kitchen facilities, although we didn't use more than the coffee Machine and microwave.

Cons: Was surprised that we had to sign a contract of good behaviour.

Cons: No concerns worth noting. Very short stay, one night.

I would definitely recommend this place to others for short stays or visiting St.Jacobs.

Pros: It was exceptionally clean and inviting. The owner was very nice and very accommodating. The place was very quiet most of the time. All the tenants were very respectful of each other.

Cons: I didn’t like the throw rugs that moved all over the floor,I think they have lost its rubber backing from washing.I just found this a safety issue for anyone with mobility issues. Also the digital locks on both the doors were not locking properly, although it could be cause of my husband turning the lock from habit.I did find it very hard to sleep while others in the house were moving about getting ready to leave or coming back from somewhere else.
