Pros: I had a wonderful stay at York House, and the host, Jamie, was truly exceptional. She accommodated me during a difficult time and welcomed me with remarkable generosity and warmth—something that’s increasingly rare to find. I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area. It genuinely doesn’t get better than this.

Relaxing

Pros: Very comfortable and clean place, quiet, nice decoration and paints. The outdoor area, the porch or the garden is good and quiet spot to have the morning coffee!

A charming stay.

Pros: The pictures do not give justice to this beautifully decorated and maintained, immaculate property. It was a top-notch experience from beginning to end. All of the essentials were provided for. The hosts were very welcoming and provided lots of tips on the area. The main beach was a short 5 minute drive with shops and restaurants in the area. Highly recommended.

A beautiful home in a great location with a wonderful hostess.

Pros: Our hostess, Jamie gave us a warm welcome and assured we were made to feel 'right at home' from the moment we stepped on to the large front porch. There are two spacious bedroom suites which share a huge bathroom. Jamie's policy is to only accommodate friends or families. As we were only one couple, she gave us the entire second floor! It was worth every penny for our two-night stay! There's a small, comfortable sitting area upstairs and a large porch with a swing, bench and numerous chairs. We spent a lot of comfortable time on the porch enjoying the quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. Crystal Beach is a short drive.

Cons: While initially disappointed there wasn't a breakfast plan, the suite has everything needed [other than a hot plate / stove] to self-cater continental breakfasts and casual meals. Also, there are numerous dining options nearby.

Pros: Pleasant quiet street , yet close to everything we wanted.

Warm and welcoming stay.

Pros: Great location that more than met my needs. Was greeted very warmly on arrival. The space was great and had lots of character and charm.

Lovely spot, private, comfortable, clean.

Pros: The location was perfect for us, very close to the friendship trail which we were biking on. Ridgeway is such a pretty little town - we loved it. Also so close to Crystal Beach which we also explored a bit. Great restaurants near the York House. Jamie suggested several good ones for us. Jamie was so great to communicate with and very friendly and helpful in person. We also really appreciated a locked shed for our bikes overnight.

Cons: No suggestions. It was perfect!

Pros: Amazing experience, beautiful property. The hostess was attentive, and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. Every attention to detail was thought of, absolute luxury!
