Spacious, well located house in PEC

Pros: Very central location: at 10-20 min from everything we wanted to visit (sandbanks, Bloomfield, Picton, Waupoos, Wellington, wine trail, County store, etc). There is a good convenience store 5 min walking down the road. Well equipped kitchen (refrigerator, cutlery, dishes, stove, pots & pans, utensils), washing machine & dryer. Comfortable beds and 2 good bathrooms in a spacious house. 1 king bed, 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds. Large parking space. Host is quite nice and responds readily to messages.

Cons: It is located near a street and there is constant noise of trucks and cars passing on the road. The window treatments are letting in a fair amount of light, so people who are bothered by the light should bring an eye mask for sleeping. The door mechanisms are old and flimsy/capricious. It’s a bit annoying especially when you go in and out with luggage or groceries in your hands.
