The Doma Lodge - Cozy Muskoka Cabin in the Woods

Pros: Extremely cosy, well equipped and easy check-in and check-out process.

Pros: It’s a very cozy place to spend time with friends and family. The kitchen was well equipped and the cleanliness was great. The owner is very understanding and will try his best to accommodate any special request gracefully 😊

Rustic cabin

Pros: Great vibes, comfortable stay in the heart of Muskoka with short drives to the surrounding towns.

Cons: Lots and lots of mosquitos in the area, so come prepared. Some more measures against mosquitos coming in around the entrance would be appreciated. The smoke alarm right above the stove without any fume hood can be a bit sensitive to cooking.

We had a great experience during our time at the lakes, while staying at this wonderful cabin!

Pros: The property had all the amenities you could ask for (gas bbq, outdoor seating, fully equipped kitchen, plenty of parking) which made it perfect for a few nights away. It was in a great location to explore the lakes, within a 20 minute drive of Arrowhead Provincial Park or Bracebridge. We loved the peaceful setting too and would definitely return!

Cons: The only (minor) area which could be improved was the amount debris from the trees on the outside deck. With a location in the woods, this is understandable however - and didn't have any major impact on our experience.

A cozy and clean place to have quality time.

Pros: I choose The Doma Lodge to celebrate my birthday with my husband and baby. We had a great time in this cozy cabin. It was very clean and We felt like home. Baby had fun outside on the woods. We had quality time together and for sure, We will come back.

Cons: We like everything .

A lovely intimate cabin close to all of the activities we wanted. (Arrowhead Provincial Park)

Pros: It was a lovely place in the woods. Nicely decorated with all of the amenities. Very comfortable.

Pros: The bedding was super comfortable — slept really well!

Pros: Super warm and cozy cottage. Location is very calm and serene and makes a great place for a true city-scape. The fire pit outside is great spot for gathering with your group and watch the beautiful sky by the fire.

Cons: It was overall a beautiful stay. However a few notes; we stayed in the cabin in Nov 2025. There’s a smaller cabin immediately to the right side of this cabin, which is also included in the booking. The access code wasn’t released to us until the evening of our arrival day. Since it was cold we turned on the additional heater inside the main cabin and the smaller one once code was provided to us which caused the breaker to flip, causing not having electricity on some parts of the cabin.

Pros: Excellent location in the woods not too far from town and accessible locations.

Cons: Cooling- It got very hot and there were portable fans in addition to the ceiling fan but it did not help at all. You will need atleast 2 big oscillating fans during summer. There is no exhaust in the kitchen so you’ve gotta be extra careful when cooking.
