Excellent visit;we will be back

Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Couldn’t ask for a better location we lunched at the golf course which was a few blocks to the water. The main shopping area was just a couple blocks in the opposite direction. A lovely courtyard and a nice gazebo area to share a glass of wine. The host was a very personable and gracious man

Cons: In our opinion nothing. Even the weather cooperated. On site parking is a nice bonus

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again if we return to NOTL.

Pros: The breakfast, although served as a takeout meal, was very good. Healthy choices were tastefully presented. The location was superb - just steps away from Queen Street and many attractions, including the King George Theatre. The garden in the back is lovely.

Cons: The shower stall in our room was a bit small, but given that the house is over 200 years old, that is to be expected!

Very enjoyable stay.

Pros: Loved the house and location. Historic house with modern interior.

Cons: Beds were low to the floor.

Cons: Everything was great. There was a little confusion on the last day. Another couple left early for a family emergency and thought the breakfast that had been left out for us to take was for them. They mistakenly took our breakfast on their way out. It was not a huge problem as we were stopping for lunch early anyway. It was just confusing with the way the breakfast was left out and not knowing who it really belonged to.

It was a lovely stay.

Pros: The location was great for the main shopping streets in Niagara on the lake. Also walking distance to the lake which was beautiful. The room was lovely in a stunning building.

Cons: Would have been nice to have been welcomed by the owner on arrival. There was very little contact with the owner, though we had his mobile number should we need him. No one to leave the room key with on departure so just left in table by front door. Again it would have been nice if someone had said goodbye to us. Would have been nice if breakfast was served in a dining room, rather than in a box dropped off outside your room. The shower was very small so nowhere to escape the initial cold water! Also no privacy as walk in bathroom with no door. Thankfully there was a separate toilet.

Pros: Loved it!! Delicious, nutritious and fun that we could take it with us. Great presentation!!😊

Cons: Everything was simply wonderful. The only thing I would add is a comfy down duvet and the king bed was too hard but that is a personal preference.

Very very enjoyable!

Pros: I loved that breakfast was packaged up beautifully and left outside our door. You could take it outside if you choose to and enjoy in the beautiful gardens. Was more food than I could eat!

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Location very close to the main area..Queen Street. We didn't meet the owner but Pam was fantastic and very helpful.Also an excellent breakfast.

Pros: Our room was exceptionally cosy with added touches that really enhanced our stay. The lighting, the shower, the delivered continental breakfast,…just wonderful. Our host, Phil, was inviting and offered up terrific ideas on how to spend our short stay. Being just around the corner from the main street and walking around all the beautiful side streets was ideal. Definitely recommend and will definitely stay again. Thank so much, Phil!
