Luxe Lodges on Lake Erie

The condo was very nice and very clean.....we enjoyed our stay there

Pros: use door code that was sent to me by email....doors opened using the codes

Cons: bed was too close to the wall.....very hard to get out of without disturbing the other person

Luxe at Port Dover

Pros: Very beautiful renovation. Luxe upgrades. Private.

Cons: Bed small and pillows not luxe. Did not like the cleaning fee amount - if guests were pigs it's one thing but $100 for overnight is too much.

I would highly recommend staying in this beautiful little cottage.

Pros: I loved the location- close to downtown, the beach, and the quiet road it's on. The decor was exceptional. Every little detail looked amazing.

Cons: The bedroom was a little small, but it didn't matter as I was traveling by myself

A cosy cottage with good amenities.

Pros: We liked being in Port Dover and within walking distance to everything.

Cons: An oven would have been nice but they do have a convection microwave.

Cons: We didn’t have pillows in one of the bedrooms and being. We wrote but didn’t get a response or pillow for the duration of our entire stay. Black sheets would not be my first choice for a hotel. The towels were of poor quality and very small, not enough for a family of four. The accommodation was quite pricey and for that price comfort is very important.

Cute, comfy and charming. My host was responsive and helful when I had questions. I will return.

Pros: It's a tiny cabin, outfitted with modern decor and conveniences. Cute and comfy.

Cons: The Bunkie needs a few hooks for coats/sweaters.

Pros: Clean, location close to the lake. Nice little touches: Comlementary water bottles, toothbrushes and toothpaste. Owner tries hard to make you feel at home.

Cons: The bed was pushed to the wall so you could only get in and out from one side. Thin, synthetic blanket.

All in all a very good stay . Really enjoyed it . Interesting and relaxing .

Pros: Great location with a private (local residents only) beach. The accommodation has been recently renovated and felt quite new. Very friendly people around the immediate area and in the town . Warm and welcoming . Plenty to explore for a few days - we went to Niagara, Long Point and did some kayaking one day (good fun) . There are some good farm shops around to try and buy the local produce eg peanuts, wine, lavender, peaches . Our host was very friendly . We didn’t need to call her for any issues but knew she would be there if we encountered any which was reassuring.

Cons: The door to the smaller bedroom was very small and our teenagers kept banging their heads. Not suitable for a bigger adult. We could have done with some smaller, real-glass glasses .
