Modern Downtown Cozy Apartment

Not perfect, but quiet, cozy, and worth the price!

Pros: The location was perfect (right behind Grand River Hospital, walking distance to Uptown Waterloo). It was very cozy, quiet, and comfortable. The self check-in was very smooth. I was in town for a week handling some sensitive family matters, so for what I needed, it was a great fit! If you are looking for quiet, clean, and centrally located on a budget, I recommend this apartment.

Cons: Some things were a little rough around the edges. Some cooking pans were quite old; the shower had a slice in the plastic wall and poorly placed shelves; there was no dishcloth, towel, or sponge in the kitchen, nor enough coffee for even one pot. Also, the internet seemed to be down when wanting to watch TV in the morning (back on later though). All things I could live with, but not 100%.

Really like staying here! Feels homey and great location!

Pros: This was my second time staying here. It is indeed a cozy apartment. Everything you need is here (although, bring your own coffee for the coffee maker), plus super walkable to all things Uptown Waterloo. There was a big snowfall the night of my arrival and the days following, and the walkway plus parking area were cleared by the time I woke up.

Cons: I had trouble with the thermostat and getting things warm enough. That said, when I informed my host, they responded right away and were very attentive to my needs.

Cons: O teto é baixo; quem é alto pode ficar desconfortável. Como o apartamento fica no porão, pode ser desconfortável para quem não gosta de lugares fechados - mas há algumas poucas pequenas janelas.
