Lakeview Motel

A delightful winter wonderland experience.

Pros: Hosts were welcoming. They provided excellent suggestions of local activities and restaurants. They have thought of extras like providing robes when using the hot tub. A big surprise was all the wildlife that visits the property - deer, wild turkeys and ducks - all of whom were lovely to watch and absolutely harmless, a real treat.

Pros: Owners were very helpful and accommodating, they go that extra mile to make it an enjoyable stay. We booked an extra night. Loved the pool and plenty of outdoor chairs and tables. Lots of wild life. I didn’t have time to explore the tracks.

Cons: I don’t think for the price we paid anything could be improved.

Very pleasant stay

Pros: Good location. Nice pool. Comfortable room. Clean.

Cons: No kettle in room. A bit hit and miss on bringing clean mugs and glasses each day. Did bring clean towels each day but did not make the bed.

We just wanted a place to sleep comfortably. This was so much more.

Pros: Everything about this stay was just what we were looking for. We had spent the day on motorcycles, we were dirty, tired and hungry. The proprietress wasn't superficially engaging; she was the real deal. A lovely person who genuinely enjoyed doing what she does for her business and her guests. Normally I just want an anonymous experience, but she was so nice to talk to, she was accommodating, she made recommendations that were useful… She was easily half of what made it so great. And the other half was the room, itself. It was clean (I mean *actually* clean), it was current, and best of all, it was silent and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. The Lakeview was a welcome respite. It had all the accommodations we were looking for and more. It was evident that Management cared about its buildings, its guests and their experiences. My one regret is that I didn't also order the Indian Breakfast to take with me on my bike.

A pleasant surprise

Pros: I enjoyed seeing Deers,turkey and the various birds. I also enjoyed the view of the lake across the street. The room was modern and very clean. Bed was comfortable so I slept well. Wifi was strong and overall I was comfortable and safe for the night. reception was always friendly and helpful.

Cons: The fan in the bathroom is too loud for me. My stay was too short and check out is 11am and I consider that too early if I was there for pleasure

Pros: If was a nice room clean and we had some wild life come visit us was so cool a family of deere and came right up to us

Clean, warm, and comfortable, what more could you ask.

Pros: Everything was good, nothing fancy but it is clean, warm, and comfortable. Breakfast could have been ordered in but we didn't realize this until too late. There is also a Timmies next door.
