Quiet, clean, relaxing AND pet friendly!

Pros: The setting is beautiful. The place had many guests but somehow never felt busy or crowded. The kayak and canoe trips are amazing. It's clean, quiet, relaxing. Last day we went for a hike in the surrounding woods and saw a deer.

Cons: The trail around the property should be better marked (the blue lines on the trees should be between white lines, so it's visible at dusk or on a cloudy day. Sometimes the trail is well-marked, and at other times, it's impossible to see the trail marks.

Loved the area and the lake

Pros: A beautiful property. The lake was perfect. Beach area lovely. All the boards kayaks and canoes it was fantastic! Staff at the resort were all wonderful and accommodating.

Cons: It could you use a bit of a refresh. The chalet probably shouldn’t have carpet as it had a bit of a smell to it when you entered the cottage. The ceiling fan was very noisy as the chain vibrated off the fan which was loud in the evening. Perhaps adding more fans when heat wave would be nice.

Very wonderful, scenic, comfortable with delicious food.

Pros: The food exceeded our expectations. So did the hospitality. They also gave dog treats and amenities which was a first for us.

Cons: Too many bugs in the area. Bring bug spray.

Our stay was cozy, relaxing, and truly amazing.

Pros: We had the opportunity to enjoy both lunch and dinner, and the experience was thoroughly enjoyable. The meals were not only delicious but also thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. Each dish showcased attention to detail in flavour and presentation, enhancing the overall dining experience. The service was attentive, and the ambiance perfectly complemented the food's quality.

Cons: One suggestion for improvement would be to enhance the deck area overlooking the lake. Adding Muskoka chairs and a small table would create a more welcoming and comfortable space for guests to relax and take in the beautiful lake view. It would be a simple yet impactful addition to elevate the overall guest experience.
