Comfortable private space

Pros: It was very clean, comfortable beds, good location, nicely decorated, and a lovely home.

Cons: Very thin walls, and I know everything is no contact nowadays, but never spoke to host, other then a few emails.. I think they should have a code entrance, then a key,.

Great stay

Pros: Great stay in a very nice and good located neighborhood. Communication is very prompt and clear. Huge beautiful house with a lot of space. Very clean and well equipped. The perfect stay for my purpose, thank you.

Cons: The rooms are very bright, i.e. depending on who lives there with you, you can hear more from your neighbours than you would like. It didn't bother me.

Exceptional place

Pros: Gorgeous house, huge room, large bed, all very clean and well kept. Having use of kitchen facilities was very useful. Also very quiet so a great option for those wanting a bit of peace from the hectic greater Toronto area.

Cons: It wasn't very clear if somebody lived in the house or it was just used by guests, so when I did bump into other guests, there was a lot of whispering and tiptoeing around.

Excellent place to stay within easy reach of Toronto

Pros: The room was lovely with plenty of space. Once we got the luggage up the stairs there was more than enough storage for our 3 night stay. The shower had plenty of power and toiletries were provided. The one thing the room lacked was a waste bin, and maybe a small fridge, although these were minor inconveniences as there was a communal kitchen with fridge which we didn't use but could have. We really liked the washer and dryer, which was free to use and much appreciated. Car parking was free and the area had lots of shops and restaurants. The GO station was a 5 minute drive, free parking and easy access to central Toronto. If we visit Toronto again we will definitely look to stay here and will recommend to our friends.

Pros: The room is clean n comfortable. The host so nice making coffee for us in the morning. Make us a warm nice day to start with.

Cons: The guests In basement is making too much noise, (kids n adult making too much noise) honking the car after 10pm.

Beautiful home. Cheap price.

Pros: I stayed in room 202. Really good for the price I paid. It's not expensive and the place is excellent. The owner responds quickly to all my emails. Their home is beautiful and I had my own bathroom in my room. You can go to the shared kitchen if you have food to put in the fridge. I didn't need to use the washing machine but they have it if you need it plus the dryer. Location is close to Town Centre for if you want to get dinner/lunch - 7min by car. The neighbourhood is beautiful.

Cons: The location is about 15min away from the transit/bus. But it should not be an issue if you have your own car or if you take Uber.

Absolutely lovely comfortable stay, we stayed a week and enjoyed.

Pros: Love the property, so comfortable and spacious, it was very well planned out for all guests in terms of individually labelled sections in the fridge for food and in the cupboard for crockery. There were sections marked out for car parking also. They really considered their guests and on behalf of myself and partner, we truly appreciated that. Recycling and garbage were collected daily and we were happy to have access to washer and dryer. We did not meet the owner but questions were quickly answered via messenger or email and there is a telephone number too. If one does not drive, the bus stop is approximately 20 minutes walk and a short journey to Pickering Go Train but one still has a short walk after the bus. That did not bother me because I enjoy walking most places and being a loverly location meant it was even more enjoyable but it may not suite those who prefer not to walk.

Cons: The Wi-Fi was a little unpredictable at times which was such a shame especially when I/we decided to complete a little work or if one wants to enjoy uninterrupted TV but, at least we are now aware of this for next time.

Pros: The room was spacious and clean. All amenities were provided. The environment was very welcoming and the host made you feel at ease.

Cons: If on booking, clients can be asked if they require anything before turning up (eg small bottle of milk) that will be a bonus.

Pros: Basically, you are renting out a room in a big detached house. It would potentially be a very uncomfortable and noisy stay (as there are several rented rooms next to each other with minimal or no sound isolation in between), but other renters were extremely quiet while I was there, so at the end, it was a much better experience than a hotel room. You have your own bathroom and towels (though an extra set would be very good). You can use the washer and dryer which was on the same floor as the rooms, and for free. You have a small TV in your room with Crave, HBO, Netflix and many other paid service providers (again for free). You are allowed to use the kitchen with all the amenities in it. Plenty of space to park your car. So, I would certainly stay again.

Cons: Nothing for me.
