The Birch

Excellent place to relax

Pros: We liked everything! The location, the cottage, bedrooms, washroom, kitchen, dinning area, private BBQ, deck, and private chairs by the water front! 1 min walk to Tim Hortons and Gas Station, 2 mins walk to the beach, 5 mins walk to Foodland. Samantha was very friendly. Stephen didn't say hi to us but that's okay. We will stay at this property again!

Cons: some black mold flying out of the AC unit but I still give this place a 10.

Excellent little get away

Pros: The location and little cottage was exactly what we needed and had all the necessary amenities.

Cons: It was great, the only part I didn't like was that we had to leave to head home.

Pros: Cottage #2 was right on the lake. The view was lovely. Baby swans and ducks floating in the water. The cottage was updated and super clean. It was well stocked with everything you need for a short or longer stay. The hosts were a pleasure to deal with. We would stay at the Birch again.

Peaceful which was what I was looking for.

Spotlessly clean

Pros: Spotlessly clean, great location, fast response to problems

Cons: No air conditioning or fans in the bedrooms. Quite pricey for the facilities - no dishwasher or washing machine, toaster and kettle a bit temperamental. The kayaks hire is extra

Pros: Very comfortable, good amenities, great location. Hosts very helpful and responsive to messages.

Cons: No standard TV, was complicated to use and limited. Recycling facilities should be provided in the apartment to make sorting easier. Cushions for the chairs on the shared deck.

Full on amenities, activities rentals, free pass to the parks

Pros: The location and vibes. Love that it's right on the lakefront. Didn't expect to have so many amenities that we could use during our stay including the BBQ on our own patio looking over the lake, swans, and ducks! Speaking of location, it's right across from the gas station with Tim Hortons, not that we bought anything from there, but it's so convenient that you could just cross the street for any incidental supplies or snacks.

Cons: The bed in the main room is surprisingly not as comfortable as the sofa beds. Regardless we slept well. Also the main dining table inside has an uneven surface that we spilled some stuff moving things around.

Perfect cottage stay

Pros: Beautiful location & fabulous cottage great facilities so lovely

Pros: We loved the location of the Birch, having the view on the lake was great! even if we had a lot of rain during the weekend, it felt very cosy and pretty!

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: The service was amazing and the accommodation was cosy and had everything we needed.
