Pros: Room was ultra clean, spotless. Mary, the owner is incredibely nice. Breakfast in the house kitchen with all needed elements to be full and satisfied. Home-like feeling.

Pros: I had a very pleasant stay at Xiao Wang, mainly thanks to the wonderful hospitality. Maria truly made us feel at home—she provided everything we needed with kindness and care. I asked for an early check-in, and she generously offered it free of charge. On the last day, she also let me leave my luggage and pick it up later, which was extremely helpful. The breakfast had plenty of options, and the location was excellent: close to the subway, buses, and the tram, and within walking distance of Bloor Street, the University area, Kensington Market, and Little Italy.

Cons: couple of things future guests should know: the room is small, with no wardrobe or TV, and you need to climb a staircase to reach it (which was fine for me, but it’s worth mentioning). The ventilation could also be improved, as some cooking smells from the kitchen entered the room. Even with these minor points, the overall experience was very positive thanks to Maria’s exceptional hospitality. I would gladly stay again!

We absolutely loved the attention to detail and the warm hospitality throughout our stay. The room was incredibly comfortable, spotless, and thoughtfully arranged, making it the perfect place to relax after a long day. Everything was impeccable. The location couldn't be better - close to key attractions, restaurants, and easy transport options. We'll definitely be coming back!

A homely guest house.

Pros: As a solo senior traveller I was welcomed by Mary when I arrived so early from my flight. She was caring and considerate and went out of her way to help me feel comfortable on that first day. Mary cared for her guests and I am grateful for the assistance she offered.

A super bed and breakfast, clean and spacious in a great location with a lovely, attentive hostess.

Pros: Mary was an excellent hostess. The room was pristine and the continental breakfast was delicious. Mary was attentive to our needs. She got up early with us when we had a day trip planned and were leaving earlier than the 7am breakfast and made sure we had some food to take with us. She was gracious when we realised we needed to stay one more night than we had planned and ensured we were well looked after. The room was spacious with a lovely bathroom. The hotel is well placed very close to great transport links for the main tourist attractions such as the CN tower and harbour. There are some lovely restaurants nearby within walking distance.

Cons: There was limited places in our room to unpack and store our clothes. This actually didn’t bother us at all, but may be an issue for some people.

Pros: What a wonderful host. Breakfast was great, nothing was a bother. Location is easy walking to restaurants etc and close to public transport. We felt very safe walking around the area. Beds were very comfortable.
