Marmora and Lake Inn and Victorian Diner

Pros: The Inn keeper was very friendly and quickly provided all of our requests. We had room #4 on the second floor, with ensuite bathroom, and the common kitchen was okay with a continental breakfast. The large flat screen TV had Netflix and a wide selection of channels. The Inn is a short walking distance to the village Main street.

Very interesting Inn.

Pros: The Inn owner is extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast food and drinks are available all the time just in case someone got hungry. Lots of places to hangout with friends in the inn. Pretty quiet. The inn itself has a lot of character, old but very classy. Located right at the town center.

Cons: I guess, inflation makes everything a bit pricy, but it is kind of subjective.

Enjoyable. A very old house with lots and lots of history.

Pros: The owner cared about his B&B and his customers. We felt very much at home as the owner was very personable. The room and especially the bed was very supportive and comfortable

Cons: Did not like how the web site was not clear about the accommodations. What I thought I booked and what I really booked were not the same. Thankfully the owner recognized the disconnect and upgraded our room.

Pros: Breakfast was OK, not exceptional but filled our needs. We did like the old Inn ambiance. It was of most significance to the younger members of our family who had never seen an old Inn of the lumber Barron era of Canadian History. They also enjoyed the pool. An added bonus.

Cons: No suggestions here. The owners were extremely cooperative to our needs.

Pros: Michelle was amazing, and very friendly, the old house has beautiful character, and the location is perfect for Marmora, breakfast was standard and as expected.

Cons: My room had sealed windows, and unfortunately the whole BNB smelled like chlorine. The bathroom had no ventilation fan, and needs some attention, the room was cute, but I also had no box spring, and only one fan. Being in the attic I was unsure if I was smelling chlorine or mildew, regardless either isn't great to be smelling. If the Owners resolve the ventilation, I would consider staying again.

Cons: 3rd floor stairs were hard for our age. We would of booked in the second floor if we knew.

Lovely place to stay!

Pros: Charming place! We only stayed one night I wish we had more time to just look at the place cause it’s so lovely. Breakfast bar was stocked, staff was very kind to give us a tour and we were able to have a hot chocolate before settling in for the night. 🥰

Pros: the property and rooms were beautiful! it’s a former estate home and is just gorgeous. reminded us of the manor homes we stayed at in the UK!
