The Big apartment by the farmer’s market is an excellent choice to explore downtown Kitchener.
Pros: Breakfast downstairs was stellar and super convenient. Flexible Check in was offered which was convenient for our needs. We could not say enough about the decor and having a stereo with albums and the artwork to enjoy. Very cozy and comfortable stay.
Cons: The lock box information emailed on the same day was different than the code originally sent. So there was some confusion initially but it worked out in the end.

Enjoyed the stay. I will be back.
Pros: Very clean and cozy. Reminds me of my many apartments over the years. I love the retro bathrooms. The best part is they allow pets. The huge balcony is great for an evening beer or a morning coffee. Also the big bed was very comfortable. This place is perfect for my needs and I plan to return.

Walk to everything yummy, even in a snow storm
Pros: We really enjoyed the finer touches. The place was full of cool details and charm. The owner was one of the most friendly people we have the pleasure to communicate with in our travels. The location is perfect and an easy walk to everything tasty in the region. Easy to find parking nearby. Didn't pay a dollar all weekend. Best of all? The food downstairs is off the charts. Great breakfast options and ambiance. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
Cons: No complaints.

Pros: It is, actually, Bed&breakfast place, practically, in the center of the city. Clean and comfortable, with restaurant on the first floor. Actually, guest has a 2 rooms of 3 stores house: living room on the 2nd floor and bedroom on the 3rd, plus balcony. And separate kitchen. Also, 2 washrooms Kitchen has a stove, fridge, kettle, roaster, microwave and all cutlery. Kitchen pantry has salt/sugar, coffee and tea, which is nice touch.. This place is nice, but it is the best for younger couples, because guests need to climb outside staircase. Parking is free and conveniently located across the street. So, you can see your car, when you need it. A lot of shopping and restaurants around. I will recommend this place for stay

Neat spot, clean and roomy, only issue is music from cafe downstairs.
Pros: The space was clean and very roomy. Bed was comfortable. Funky decorations which we enjoyed. Was in a convenient location for us, close to downtown.
Cons: The cafe downstairs plays music all day, in the kitchen area it is very loud as this is above their kitchen. In the living area you can hear it too. As the bedroom is upstairs you don’t hear it that much. The cafe normally opens at 9 so music starts at 8 and goes till about 4, so if you are out and about all day it wouldn’t be an issue, but we were visiting family and took a larger place to have them over in the afternoon so it wasn’t great. On Saturdays the cafe opens at 7 so the music may start at 6, we did not stay over a Saturday. Also just a note, it is up a flight of outside stairs and then about 10 stairs once inside and another flight up to the bedroom.

Retro apartment with great vibe.
Pros: Big, funky and well equipped. Old, but functional and fun. Bed was really comfy and huge. We had breakfast downstairs and it was fantastic!
Cons: Loud music from the covered parking across the street until 11 pm midweek. Couldn’t lock the patio doors which were on the second floor, so weren’t super bothered, but not as secure as we would have liked to be.

Enjoyable stay in this clean, spacious, unique retro apartment: comfortable and fun!
Pros: We really enjoyed the unique decor of this spacious apartment. We loved the quirky pictures and accessories. The apartment was very clean and thoughtfully appointed with things a person might need. The beds were comfortable and the balcony was enjoyable. It is located directly above The Yeti Cafe which we really enjoyed both mornings. It is located in a great multicultural area of Kitchener with lots of wonderful restaurants and right across from the Farmers’ Market. There were so many things we enjoyed about our stay. Communication was great and we were so grateful to have found this gem of an accommodation.
Cons: The only thing I could think to mention is that we could hear the music in the morning coming up from the café below. It wasn’t too much of a problem.
