The June Motel

We had a very relaxing time, thank you for a memorable stay!

Pros: The decor in the rooms and parlour is all stunning!

Cons: Maybe you could do 1 baked good and add muesli for the yoghurt.

Loved the room, parlour, and firepit

Pros: A little disappointed, only fruit was an apple?? Breakfast cookie was dry

Pros: The view outdoors was excellent, comfortable beds, unique decor, nice oudoor spaces with plenty of sitting, fire pits, Muskoka chairs and a sauna. Nice little extras, like smores kits at night and home made cookies and muffins for breakfast

Cons: There are two restaurants near by, but only one of them is opened on Mondays. All other restaurants are 25 minutes away. The septic system was not functioning properly. The rooms have no windows, the only natural light come in from the glass on the entrance door, not a space for claustrophobic guest.

Deseando regresar algún día

Pros: Tenía muchas ganas de visitar este sitio y, aún así, superó mis expectativas. El lugar es idílico: junto al río, silencioso, con una decoración preciosa, que hace que sea aún más acogedor. Además, el alojamiento está lleno de detalles: packs para hacer en la hoguera por la noche, juegos de mesa disponible, sets para cocktails... Está a pocos minutos en coche de algunos restaurantes. Además, la guía que da el alojamiento en su web es perfecta para disfrutar de la zona. Sin duda, volvería de nuevo a este motel. Cogerlo entero con un grupo de amigos tiene que ser un sueño.

Cons: Para no llevarse una desilusión, no hay que esperar un gran desayuno porque realmente es una máquina de café/ té y manzanas disponibles todo el día. Solo uno de los dos días en los que estuvimos nos pusieron, además, dos tipos de dulce (según nos contaron, fue un error que no los trajeran el primer día). Como sugerencia diría que el lugar es tan silencioso que el aparato de ruido blanco que hay en las habitaciones no es necesario, al contrario: en nuestro caso, el vecino tenía puesto el suyo tan alto que nos rompía el silencio y molestaba. No logramos encender la sauna, pero probablemente fuera problema nuestro (quizás requería más tiempo del especificado, no lo sé).

Pros: Loved all the extra touches, comfortable sitting areas, breakfast from a local spot. It was a beautiful spot along the water.

Cons: Rooms and bathrooms are tight (but super comfortable), during the summer it was lovely to spend time outside, in the winter it may feel smaller!

Very cozy! We were there as a couple, but it would also be a great place to go with a group.

Pros: The breakfast was nice. The muffins were wholesome and filling. We loved the coffee machine. The coffee was delicious!

Cons: The soap and body wash dispensers in the room were empty. For breakfast, seasonal fruit would have been nicer than the apples.
