The Khan Villa

Exactly what I needed for a short stay at a great rate.

Pros: The basement was converted to dorm-style set up with several rooms for potential guests, with common access to the bathroom and kitchen. I'm a no-fuss type traveler, so it was great to have a chance to cook my own meals rather than only having the option to go out and eat in expensive restaurants. The kitchen, bathrooms and rooms were all well-supplied, and the host gave a personalized welcome and remained available if anything was needed. For the price, location and cleanliness, it was everything I needed for a comfortable stay (weekend for a wedding) for a great price.

Cons: Can't find anything to complain about. I liked it.

Pros: It was a very nice environment. The room was really cozy. The bathroom was clean and so was the living room.

Exceptional

Pros: Everything - Ash and his lovely wife welcomed me into their home (always responsive & available in case I needed anything). Very kind and ready to help. It was indeed a home away from home. The basement has its own private entrance. It is equipped with all the essentials and in a very quiet neighbourhood. It has a good WiFi and its own laundry room. The room size is great (can take 2 people) with its own cabinet. Everything was clean when I arrived.

Cons: I didn’t realize when I booked, it is a shared house with the owner and other guests. Also I ended up parking in the street.

Excellent experience

Pros: The property was very clean and cozy. Extra comforters were available. It was also very quiet and the instructions were easy to follow. The host communication was great too!

Pros: The room has shared a bathroom, which made me a little anxious, but everything was spotlessly clean and very well-kept. The host was very kind, gave me a tour of the shared spaces, and was readily available through WhatsApp. It was perfect for my one-night stay in the area.

Cons: Not a big deal at all. Just a suggestion to edit the description. It was not that clear that the rooms for rent are on the first floor and the shared living and kitchen areas are in the basement where it seems there is another bedroom available.

Good enough for short stay.

Pros: No breakfast. Location was central. Place was clean.

Cons: Place was sterile. No access to kitchen. Not sure of parking.
