Hammer Haus II

Absolutely wonderful for our girls weekend!

Pros: The house was like home! All the amenities! Fabulous and basic needs stocked! Our host Carol was lovely and greeted us upon arrival! She made sure we were comfortable with the home. It was convenient to get around !!!

Cons: There was nothing that was any issue!

Pros: Carol's place is very clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment and spices. We enjoyed the entire basement area which included a large ensuite and separate bedroom with a king-size bed. The common area upstairs was very comfortable. We highly recommend Carol's Hammer Hauses.

Clean safe welcoming unit with key pad lock.

Pros: Great to have Keurig pods and milk for breakfast. Having slippers,blow dryer, and shampoo was appreciated. Lock on bedroom door and front door was a key pad. Parking in driveway. Use of full kitchen if needed.

Cons: Room waz a bit cool but probably cause door was closed.

A real home from home. All the welcoming details were there. I would definitely recommend it.

Pros: I would highly recommend this property. It was a real home from home. All the details from robes to tea bags were thought of. It was supremely comfortable, warm and an overall great place to stay.

Exceptional comfort, fantastic facility, reasonable price.

Pros: The supplies of coffee, tea and little snacks was generous. We had the shared kitchen to ourselves. Very quiet. Nice location near U of W, St Jacob’s etc. Comfy slippers.

Cons: Lack of laundry facilities for a longer stay. Understand that a laundromat is very nearby. So this works.

Pros: Location was brilliant, added extras like yea & coffee were excellent and beds were super comfy :)

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at the Hammer Haus II. We booked the king suite, which was the bottom floor of the house. It was very clean and everything that you could want was there. We had use of the kitchen upstairs. The communication was very good with the owners, and they answered all questions. Carol and Andre were very sweet!

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.

Pros: Luckily, I was the only person in the whole house. If you are ready to share bathroom with two or more people, you will enjoy staying there.

Excellent, spotless, comfortable, safe and quiet

Pros: I booked this accommodation because I don’t really like hotels. This place is an absolute gem!! I was greeted and welcomed with a short tour of the home and of my room. I stayed in the king suite so I had the entire basement which was gorgeous. I felt safe and was so comfortable. Extremely clean and I’m fussy. Really close to the university. Kitchen was gorgeous and spotless and fully equipped. I was just so pleased. Excellent place to stay, highly recommend!!!!!

Great stay, great bed, but cold and dirty extra blankets. Everything else was great.

Pros: Location was good, quiet, bed was very comfortable, price was good.

Cons: It was freezing downstairs in the bedroom, required 2 extra blankets which one was stained and the other had a giant used bandaid stuck to it (the one in the closet). There should’ve been a door before going downstairs/at the bottom of the stairs to make the basement “suite” more exclusive/private. It would also make it less awkward having to worry about exiting the bathroom after a shower and potentially having someone have a direct view from the main door.
