Birdsong Bungalow

Pros: The house was so clean, lovely bedding and comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped and very modern.

Cons: The bathroom needs some updating, a fan, higher toilet and an accessible tub/shower.

Perfect Accommodations

Pros: Bibi was an excellent exceptional host. She made everything so easy and pleasant. We loved everything. Home was immaculate with everything we needed. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great stay when having a quick get away

Pros: Once I got there I could walk to the stores and coffee on the porch is very nice

Cons: It’s a share property with someone living there. Nothing wrong with that but I did not want to make noise and bother them.

Pros: Bibi, the host, was wonderful!! We arrived a day early (my mistake) and she was completely accomodating, getting the house ready in short notice. The place was wonderful, well, lit and very comfortable beds!!

Pleasant but also disappointed

Pros: Bibi is very pleasant and greeted us warmly to go over some details. Location is great. A quiet residential street. Playground across the street would be ideal if staying with children. Close to the water and an easy walk to the tourist area. The house has a bright happy decor. The open one level worked well for us. The lighting is very nice with ceiling and lamp options. The kitchen is well stocked to prepare meals. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. The water/ice dispenser is a luxury that we enjoyed.

Cons: The furnishings are not great for anyone with mobility issues of any kind. The seating in the living area is much too low for comfort. The room is plenty large enough to have knee and back friendly seating as well as the lounging Ikea couch. The dining seating again is low and much too flimsy for older or larger guests. We found a charity shop to purchase/rent a couple proper dining chairs. The only comfortable chair is in the master bedroom. The bath needs at least grips on the bottom, as the surface is smooth and very slippery for old and young. I was a bit taken aback when we were told we were not to eat or drink on the couch. Who doesn’t want to enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of coffee, lounging in front of the TV while on vacation.

Lovely, clean accommodation.

Pros: The property was very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. We were met at the prearranged time and my email and text messages with questions were responded to promptly. We were 6 adults and there was lots of space for us to be together. I would definitely stay again.

Pros: I did stay here, but the ladies that did on,y had good things to say.

Cons: Check in and out times are very restricted. Check in at 5pm and check out at 10 am. I’ve stayed in many places around the world and have never encountered this.
