Hidden gem in Humber bay shores Toronto with parking

Nice basic spot in Humber Bay.

Pros: Has (nearly) everything you need. Good layout. Room big enough. Quick Uber drive to Go train station Mimico. The host Ihab was very helpful and courteous. THE COFFEE. It is so good they ought to open a store. Strong nutty dark roast, I had to have one even on the morning of my check out. Metro and Shoppers at the doorstep which is convenient. There’s also an all-day breakfast place practically just downstairs which is great. Safe neighbourhood. Washer and dryer en suite which is SUPER HELPFUL.

Cons: White modern design makes it look cleaner and newer than it actually is. Don’t get me wrong, it IS clean, just a bit run down which you can’t tell from the pictures. SHOULD DEFINITELY DO STH ABOUT THE CURTAINS. None of the curtains fully close. I mean, if you can’t afford blackout curtains in the bedroom, at least let them fully close, and at least choose not near transparent ones. Washer: can’t change cycles cuz the knob is broken. Sofa area: the cushions and the blanket SMELL probably because they haven’t been aired out in a long time. Lots of utensils, but maybe they could add disinfectant cleaning wipes which are easier to use for hygiene fanatics such as me. Slippers would be nice. The Wi-Fi failed, and Ihab was very ready to help, but I was out most of the time so didn’t bother. Make sure it’s back on when you book. Also, all the fake plants and small decorations seemed pointless to me, if anything they downgraded the look, but maybe it’s just me. Value for money, I’d say 6-7/10. (FYI, the buses connecting the place to Mimico station only run in the morning and evening rush hours so they are no good. Besides who wants to wait in the cold for the buses? The Uber to Mimico station costs about 9 CAD, and the train comes about every 25 minutes.)
