Canalside Restaurant & Inn

Pros: Loved the old charm, spaciousness and patio. Ample room for 4 adults.

Cons: A little hard to find especially the parking.

a great place to stay, in the heart of downtown Port Colborne, and the canal, stunning!

Pros: I had no idea of where to go to get my key, and thank goodness, someone at the restaurant gave me the keys…it would have been good to have been told where to find the keys.

Cons: i loved my stay, nothing i would do different, other than being told where to get the keys.

Pros: The staff and food were excellent from the restaurant. Room was spacious and clean

Cons: They were painting the outside of the building so the windows were taped so we were unable to look outside

Pleasant stay. Not the best occasion as we were there for a funeral.

Pros: Good location. Enjoyed watching the ships pass along the canal and under the lift bridge.Our dog was very content there.

Cons: The weather!!

An enjoyable two days and nights, comfortable.

Pros: Quiet, clean, large room, excellent location (although we did not have a canal view and looked over roofs of buildings). Easy check-in. Prompt answering of question re: parking via text. Able to sit out along the canal with a beverage at the end of the day. Kitchen well stocked and single coffee maker made good coffee.

Cons: Challenging if not impossible for anyone who has mobility issues. This downside ought to be on the website...twenty steep stairs although solid banister and great motion lighting. Would have liked to switch off the ac and open windows but one window would not budge, another window screen was ripped, the third window did not have screen and the fourth window was blocked by air conditioner.

Pros: Room comfy and clean very quiet Lots to do in the area great food and excellent staff

Cons: Would have been nice to have a better view of the canal and lake

Pros: beautiful apartment room with everything you need. Decor so very stunning, loved all the light fixtures. Best of all master bedroom wall size windows looking over the canal, watched ships come in and pass through all night long. 3 bedrooms all comfy beds....outside deck was very nice to have morning coffee on! What a find....

Pros: Clean, kitchenette nicely laid out and accessories to be used. Great sized areas. Comfortable

Cons: Outlets . Hard to find one close to sleeping area as charger was a shorter one. Or it was behind bed Only saw one in bathroom by light. But definately made due

Overall an excellent stay!

Pros: Great location, comfortable room with great amenities. Restaurant was nice with delicious food/drinks. Special mention to our server Sydney for a fantastic dining experience!

Cons: Overall, the room was clean but could have used a dusting in certain areas. Not a deal breaker, just an honest observation. Would definitely return to this accommodation!
