"Hike" at Hills Meaford

Wonderful stay in Meaford

Pros: The suite is clean, spacious, good layout and perfect for a family of four with a dog. We had a good time in Meaford doing some hiking nearby with our dog. We paid a fee for a private parking spot, just a minute walk away from the suite to secure a guaranteed parking spot in winter. We look forward to visiting Meaford again in the summer and doing water activities.

Cons: The stairs up to the suite are quite steep, someone will come and clean so that the stairs are not slippery even in the wintertime. But, even inside the suite, you can hear when others are walking in the stairway, which may not be as suitable for those with reactive/protective dogs.

Pros: Cozy but not small, with a semi-split level. Cool artwork. Comfortable beds. Great location. Easy to park. Friendly owner. The bath products (soap, shampoo, etc.) were locally sourced and really good. Right beside a funky cafe.

Cons: We had noisy neighbours for one of the nights, but that's not really a negative point - just luck of the draw.

Pros: Wonderful stay at this property! So beautifully decorated, very clean, had all the amenities we needed. The welcome gift was an extra bonus! Would definitely stay here again. Loved they used local artisans to furnish this suite.

Pros: Great property. Well equipped and centrally located within Meaford

A great spot for the four of us to stay over in Meaford for a concert at the Hall

Pros: Great location off Main Street, close to Meaford Hall, very clean and quiet, nicely laid out, full kitchen and lots of accessories, big bathroom

Our first stay at the hills after a day at Scandinav was fantastic.

Pros: Great location, within walking distance of good restaurants and the centre of town. Spacious, Comfy beds, well appointed kitchen, coffee, butter tarts, comfy couch and Netflix.

Cons: Took me a minute to figure out the lighting. The sign in the small parking lot across the street indicated no parking in early hours but we parked there anyway. No ticket so I guess we were ok.

We had a relaxing fun time and would consider coming again.

Pros: It was downtown so you could walk to what was in Meaford.It was very cute with local art work.The kitchen was all we needed .The host left us a little gift which was nice.It was above a coffee shop and very close to a thrift shop which is something we like to do. Meaford is so quiet and cute as a town.We were close to Thorn bury..love the Thorn bury cidery and also close to Collingwood were we enjoyed an amazing meal at Sol Kitchen. We also loved the natural body care products provided by host.❤️

Cons: The stairs but we are fit.

Pros: Bien situé. Accueil agréable. Bonne communication avec l'hôte. Cuisine bien équipée avec des ustensiles et accessoires de qualité. Bien décoré avec goût. Lits confortables.

Cons: Très loin de Tobermory.
